I live nearby and I love this place. It's usually the first place for food or a casual drink or coffee that I bring someone to that's visiting Dublin for the first time: I know they're guaranteed an excellent experience. The owner is super friendly but not in a corny, fake way - he always makes sure everyone is looked after and the atmosphere is just so welcoming and homey (I think his name is John?). His staff are lovely as well and it's clear they have a good working rapport. I especially love it here in the summer cos you can sit out front and have your breakfast in the sun (even though it's Dorset Street, no one bothers you) The only recommendation I would make to John is that he do something about the façade: not enough people know about this place and you could easily walk past & miss it as it doesn't immediately look like an establishment. But once you're inside you don't regret going in. Hope you guys stick around and thanks for all the excellent meals (I recommend the fish & chips, the fajitas and the apple pie)
