Just back from Dublin and stumbled upon this place, found it really reasonably priced.Was given amazing service from the staff who went beyond to provide my baby home from home comforts.We also were given a detailed history of the place by Michael who we would specifically like to praise for his service and welcome, we will be back whenever in Dublin.Thank you for a great experience.
We stopped off here yesterday for a quick bite and a drink and it was fabulous! I had the Parma ham panini and my wife had the steak noodle salad, both of which were amazing! My wife can recommend the cocktails too - especially the French 75!!!
Went here on a Tuesday evening. The place was crowded for the evening. It is good place to hang out with expensive alcohol.Ambience was classic and the resturant had separate sections for food and drinks.They have good spread of cocktails which makes it better than regular pubs.
I have been here several times. Sometimes only for coffee or to have a few drinks, sometimes for dinner. It has never disappoint me. The place is great to look at with nice ambiance. It can be very busy there. Sometimes I didn't find a place. The staff is friendly and helpfull!
Gorgeous place with classic Parisian decor. The food was exquisite as well. Would love to come back again and again! Also would recommend reservations since this gets busy.
I came here on Saturday with my boyfriend for dinner & drinks. We were greeted by a friendly staff member and brought to our seats.
We bought opted for the chicken Supreme and a side of sweet potato wedges. It was delicious and filing.
I loved the decor it was cosy and there was a great atmosphere in the place as after a certain time the nightclub opens. So it's definitely a place you could stay all night.
I will definitely be returning.!
Been there way back in 2003. Amazingly gorgeous place. Jazz on Sundays. Food was good and the Guinness fresh on tap, what more can you ask for???
This place is gorgeous, the interior is really stunning.
I came here so we could have dinner and watch a football match but I was disappointed with the food. It was delicious but the portions for a main course were tiny considering the price of it! It was a pretty ridiculous sized portion. Especially for the fish and chips, there were only about 6 chips on the side. I got the fish of the day which was pan fried cod and the sliced potatoes that came with it wouldn't even make up a whole potato!
Ordered wings after our mains because we were still starving! They were just your average wings, but a generous enough portion for €7.
I was also really disappointed with the service. The place wasn't busy at all and we sat down and were completely ignored for a while. I had to get up and ask for a food menu... Not a place to come for dinner really!
I'd definitely return here for a few cocktails though- they looked fab! The bar is 5 stars, with a huge selection of drinks.
I have been here a few times for drinks love the place. Came for my bro ends birthday and we got food aswell was delish. Was here again on paddys day for drinks with friends and we sat upstaires on this terrace area that was a little sun trap was so nice
Love this spot for a cocktail with the girls. It's a fancy night out and we usually go here before heading elsewhere. It kind of reminds me of a gatsby styled place I love the atmosphere.
The decor reminded me of 1920s-30s Paris/Europe. Teetering on kitschy but enjoyable nevertheless. The chocolate muffin was quite good, and it being late afternoon, was pretty empty. Perfect time to take in the "architecture" and relax!
Oh Cafe en Seine, so posh so lovely so exclusive so la di da! But oh so worth it, even just for one visit as it really feels special and makes you feel like you are in Vienna or Salzburg and not sometimes rainy grey Dublin!
The extravagantly long bar and high ceilings create a wonderful sense of space and elegance. But that sense of space disappears pretty rapidly on a Friday and Saturday night.
The best time to visit is early in the day when you can relax with one of their delicious coffees and pastries and take in the beautiful surroundings and loose yourself for an hour or so!
