Can't recommend this beautiful little gem enough!Richard's cooking is supreme, elegant and always on point. There's a wonderful touch and finesse which you can taste throughout the whole menu starting with his Ox tongue terrine, pickles,apple and celeriac remoulade, grape chutney and the best focaccia i have ever tasted! The mains are always cooked and seasoned perfectly, served with his beautiful vegetable and potato side dish...it is beyond delicious! It is always a great sign when a chef focuses on the details of his hand crafted desserts just as much as he pays attention to his savoury dishes. The addition of the pistachio praline on the decadent chocolate marquise is simply genius! We always love when the front of house impresses as much as the food part of the experience! Antje has the knowledge, the skills and most importantly the experience, so she is able to give the best casual dining service with the qualities of a fine dining service. With much flair and sass of course! We will happily return as often as possible!
Had my first visit here recently. Probably the finest meal I have had in some time. Went with some friends who are in the catering industry and everybody thoroughly enjoyed it. It is so refreshing to eat in a place where clearly the chef is passionate about food & the best of local produce is being used. None of us could fault any part of the meal. Would recommend the scallops & the duck main course was delicious. Reasonably priced considering the quality. Great service. Cannot wait to return.
We had a wonderful meal here recently . Our daughter loved the half hake portion never mind the ganache. We found the owner so welcoming. The food was delicious . Great experience
As you enter the restaurant you are warmly greeted by the restaurant manager who has a professional but friendly touch. The restaurant atmosphere is beautiful, tastefully decorated with local art on exhibit. The menu offers an excellent range of mouth watering starters, mains and desserts! All the products were fresh and the dishes had the warmth of homemade food. The chef takes great care in selecting the best quality ingredients and it shows. The whole experience was exquisite!!
Fantastic. So good we went twice in a week, and only regret that we live on the other side of the country and so won't be returning soon, though return we shall.
The dining room is charmingly decorated, welcoming and comfortable. Service was wonderful. Warm, witty and welcoming (again, but couldn't resist the alliteration).
The food was super. Everything was cooked on point, and complemented the other ingredients on the plate. This is the sort of cookery that both the plainest of eaters and faddiest of foodies could both enjoy.
Delighted we went there.
Combine the best local ingredients with master class cooking then throw in friendly service in a charming dining room and you can’t go wrong.
It's a delightful little Restaurant. Among short mouthwatering menus, you can find fresh fish and shellfish from the dayboats in Courtmacsherry next to organic vegetables from Cape Clear and many more of the amazing foods West Cork has to offer. Last but not least Antje is a great host and Rick a giftet chef. I warmly recommend it. In my opinion, It's definitely worth a visit.
The owner of Dillon's Restaurant in Timoleague is not only a lovely hostess but her food is outstanding. Everyone who entered the restaurant seemed to be treated like family. I would highly recommend that if you ever are in Timoleague, to definitely stop in.

Fantastic food and relaxed atmosphere. Love the decor and layout of the restaurant and a very warm welcome. We Will definitely return here again for a dinner on a couples evening out. Fantastic locally and seasonal food served, surrounded by fabulous local art work. The evening was lovely and nothing was rushed and a really lovely dining experience. Thank you for a really truly enjoyable evening. We will be back.
