Nice Sushi place with a good variety of sushi dishes. The portions of the ramen and main dishes are quite generous too. Make sure the order is captured correctly when you place it - couple of instances where our orders were mixed up but other than that nothing wrong with the food..
I regularly both eat in and get Sushi from this restaurant and have never been disappointed. The staff are always friendly, the foods is always tasty and the value for money is superb.

Went here last night with my sister for a quick bite to eat. As it was 9 o clock I was expecting the restaurant to be dead but to my suprise it was not . We came in and were sat immedietly at a table for two before I could blink there were menus and tap water on our table which was very nice and quick service. We ordered our meals with a very nice waitress , we got the avacado roll (8 piece 4.85) to share while we were waiting for our mains , they were the best avacado rolls I have had before the freshness was zero to none . I went for the ebi tempura which is an appitiser (7.50) for mains with a portion of steamed rice (2) I was not overly hungry and was in the mood for prawns and batter so this was perfect. They were as expected tasty and fresh, I asked for rice vineger with my rice as I like a tiny bit on it and they were quickly accomodating . My sister ordered the yakisabo dish (13.95) which was beautifully presented and a large portion was given! I tasted and was highly impressed , We decided to go the whole hog and get desserts Rachel getting ice cream (4.50 for 3 scoops) and banoffi pie for myself (6.50) both went down a treat! The only reason I did not give 5 stars would be the restaurant felt a bit cold , I think it lies down to the decor of it as I felt a canteen like feel! Room for improvement on things but really enjoyable experience overall ! Lovely staff :) always smiling, I will be back and will hopefully pluck up the courage to go for the sushi
I visited the newly opened Aoshima Sushi & Grill last weekend. It was a great night. Both the food and service were excellent. The restaurant hosts a number of private Japanese style dining rooms which offer a little privacy for big groups or boisterous parties. The food was delicious. The menu lists a number of traditional Japanese dishes with each one sounding more delicious than the last! It was difficult to make a decision! For starters I opted for the Ebi Katsu. The food was really tasty and came beautifully presented. I also got the chance to taste some Ebi Tempura. It's by far the best tempura prawns I've had in Ireland. For the mains I opted for the steak Teppanyaki. It was very good. The ramen dishes look amazing. Joe the owner came out to chat with us after our meal which I thought was a nice touch! Overall, it was a very enjoyable night and i'd highly recommend a visit to Aoshima Sushi! 😍!
I was really looking forward to trying the food here as I had heard great things. There were a group of 10 of us and we were situated in one of their private rooms which I would highly recommend for parties. The menu has so many options, it was hard to narrow it down. I had the salmon teppanyaki which came with either rice or noodles. The portion was very generous and incredibly tasty. Looking around at everyone's food, everything looked incredible, very well presented and there were a lot of clean plates being handed back! I will definitely be back as there were so many things on the menu I wanted to try.

Last night ten foodies got together in Aoshima Sushi & Grill, Stillorgan for the first Zomato foodie meet-up of 2016, the atmosphere, company and food were fantastic! This restaurant caters to coeliac too!
We were seated in the tatami private function room, which was a really nice touch. At first glance it looked as though we'd be sitting on the floor (true Japanese style), but beneath the tables are hollowed out, so it's actually like sitting in a chair but your bum is on a tatami matt. We didn't have to take off our shoes either.
It was something different, and nice to experience some Japanese culture while you dine.
I'm following a gluten-free diet, so I asked the waitress for some advice when ordering my starter and main course. She was very helpful. I decided to go for the 'Bacon Kushiyaki' - Japanese style skewer asparagus and enokitake mushroom wrapped with bacon.
At first I thought the long crunchy mushrooms were bean sprouts, it was only when I looked at them carefully I noticed the little mushroom heads. They were crunchy and delicious - I was very happy with my gluten-free option.
I'm not really up on my Japanese cuisine lingo so it took me a while to order. The menu provides some useful information, explanations of the dishes on offer, which is very helpful if you have no idea what Teppanyaki, Futomaki or Gyoza is?
I opted for the Teppanyaki gluten-free option, so my dish was served without the teriyaki sauce.
Aoshima Sushi & Grill, was the perfect restaurant for chatting to my fellow bloggers and foodie friends. The staff was fantastic and the tatami private room was really cool. The food was fresh, hot and really tasty.
I was part of a party of 10 so we had a private room with sliding doors. The interiors are perfect to allow you to experience Asian cuisine. The staff were so helpful and the food was Devine.

Came here as part of a Zomato Meetup. It is a nice place, with parking outside and it is nicely decorated inside. It had a very chilled out vibe and large windows so I say it would be lovely in the summer. We were lead to one of the private rooms that had a sunken table and everybody sat around. It was a nice idea but not very practical at all. I liked that you could be in a private area but it was a pain getting in and out and the waitress nearly fell over the table trying to refill our water glasses. It could get quite messy with large groups. The menu was huge, a super amount of choice covering a lot of Asian staple dishes and some more unique offerings, too. I had the Uramaki salmon and avocado sushi to start. It was really fresh and well made and the 8 piece portion was more than enough for a starter. For my main I had a chicken katsu curry and again the portion was huge with lots of really nice steamed rice. The curry itself was really good but as I had never had one before I can't tell how it compares to other katsu curries. I think this place would be great for groups as the private rooms are a cool idea, if a little awkward.
Delicious food, lovely staff, great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and will be returning. Had a fantastic evening here.

The food was amazing.
I went for the Yakibuta to start which was thinly sliced pieces of pork topped with chilli and scallions.
For my mains I got the Chicken Teppanyaki, I had never tried this before so I thought I would try something new and it didn't disappoint, it was served with steamed rice.
The service were great, I would definitely recommend this spot :)
