This is the fourth time we have visited Ireland and the first place that we head to is Egans Bar. The Guinness is the best that we have ever tasted and the atmosphere is excellent. Larry and his wife Mary made us feel very welcome as did the customers there. I would recommend that you visit. You will not be disappointed. Babs and Dave Scott. South Wales.

I live in Madchester and go on holiday in August every year to Wicklow, the birth place of my parents. Egan’s in Park Bridge is the place to be. My Mother and sister Mag, used to work there when they were young girls and my aunt still does the odd shift. I have many lovely memories of Egan’s, lots of when my father Dan Donohue played the button accordion (and occasionally me in the fiddle). We used to end up in the kitchen at the end of the night and the music and Craic would go on until the early hours of the morning!! It’s a fabulous place!!
