Fantastic restaurant, from the warm welcome that's received upon arrival to the description of each mouth watering dishes, making you want to order one of everything on the menu. The attention to detail is evident in every dish and it's a place that you will arrive, enjoy amazing food and where dinner becomes much more than a just a necessary meal. No description does this place justice, it's a place that will only be fully appreciated once experienced for oneself.

I travelled to Sallins to have dinner with friends on Saturday night. I was not prepared for the experience I was about to have courtesy of the Two Cooks, this is simply put, one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in. The greeting we received on our arrival was warm and wonderful, the Christmas cocktails helped us relax and the staff went out of their way to make us welcome and settle us In to our table. The explanation of the menu was as close to food porn as you will get and yet it couldn't prepare us for the amazing taste of the food we were served. I had the the egg starter which was cooked to perfection and the broccoli puree and delicate flavors that accompanied it just blew my mind. I had a main course of venison which again I can only say was cooked to perfection, slightly pink and surrounded by vegetables with flavours that simply wowed me and left me begging for more. The wines we chose to accompany our meal complimented this most fabulous of culinary experiences. For all you foodies out there I can tell you for sure that the Two Cooks is on the most urgent to visit list as the food is simply spectacular. If I have one complaint it would be that the evening had to end. Thank you to all involved at the restaurant for one of the most memorable evenings I have had in years.
