Seeing as my partner is living up the road from the landmark, we have been keeping our eye on the place while it was being built..we visited a few times while it opened but never found a good time to eat but we never gave up..seeing as I come from a Hotel & Catering back round I understand that new restaurants come with a few teething problems at the start, everything can't be perfect be it waiting staff, chefs or opening times! Tonight we visited at 6.30pm without a reservation and were accommodated straight away by the very friendly management and waiting staff.. From the minute we were seated, we had the full attention of the waitress (sorry we did not get her name). She was such a lovely girl and did a fantastic job considering she only had a short time to memorise the menu and had a lot of other tables to attend to..she made sure to check up on us after every Course! Now the food!! All we have to say is WOW! It was by far the nicest meal we have had in a long time..We had a meat and cheese board to start which was the nicest I have ever seen in my 15 years in the business..very well presented and the perfect starter to nibble on while waiting on our main.. We got the Landmark burger and the Rib and Wing combo for mains which were both beautifully complimented by their own homemade coleslaw and fries! To clarify all I have to say is: yes there are a few teething problems, yes it's not as perfect as you would like it to be on arrival but the service once seated and the food are both absolutely outstanding! We both wish you the utmost success in the future and we will be seeing you again very soon...we heard the breakfast is highly recommended! Kind Regards Carla & Jay

The lamb cooked truly Greek island style, delicious. The Landmark burger was indeed just that a landmark, well worth enjoying. Excellent wine list and amble menu range, beautifully chosen decor and excellent service. An easy to access location with spacious parking on the West Cork Wild Atlantic Way this undiscovered gem is well worth the find.
