This is my second time in Dublin and I ventured outside of city center to a small gem of a town called Rathgar and found a place called The Revolution... It's only a short walk or taxi from but man do they have a such a unique and genuine aura... Paul the owner is a first time restaurant owner and takes pride to make sure that every customer has a good food and customer experience and his staff was on point... Whether you are a single and get to sit at the bar near the pizza oven and enjoy the antics of Adriano or have a crew of 4 this is a place I highly recommend... Great job on the details and I will ever back!
My favourite restaurant to have a nice pizza and beer/wine, or brunch and a mimosa on the weekend! Relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff and excellent quality of food/service. Would definitely recommend 😍
My husband and I came into Revolution for the first time today and we were so impressed by every level of service - calling for a reservation last minute, the amazing service as we made our selection (with recommendations from the waiter), and the quality of the food. I'd specifically like to mention our server, Todd, who went above and beyond for us. We will definitely be frequent visitors because of his amazing charisma.

Long live the brunch trend. I can’t remember weekends before it was acceptable to drink mimosas every Saturday and Sunday morning. It is definitely my favourite thing to do and obviously a lot of people feel the same – especially groups of girls. I am seeing more and more restaurants opening for brunch and becoming adventurous with the typical brunch menu. I moaned before about the amount of egg based menus so I was blown away when The Revolution Rathgar released their take on brunch. It was honestly my dream, I couldn’t have imagined a better spin on brunch; an Encinitas breakfast burrito, orange and cumin pork tacos and a revolution grilled cheese to name just a few of their options.

My favourite restaurant in all of Dublin. The best craft beer selection & the most delicious artisan pizzas. I adore the Northshore pizza paired with a laganitas ipa. Their brunch just kicked off and it was incredible - pork and cumin tacos paired with a cucumber and honey mimosa. Their truffle fries are out of this world!
Have eaten here a few times and the food is always delicious - really fresh and full of flavour. The steak tacos are my favourite. Staff are warm and friendly and the service is excellent!
The best pizza I've ever eaten in Dublin! It was one with chicken and rocket, can see in picture. They have great sides too and do these amazing fries with truffle oil. Also great value. Love this spot. Also have a great selection of craft beers.
Absolutely love this place! Food is always great and staff are always so friendly and willing to answer any questions you have about anything on the menu! Regular customers here , garlic parmesan fries are the best around 😍
I was drawn to Revolution pizza in Rathgar by the consistent crowds and the craft beer specials. Four craft beers to taste every Thursday during happy hour! I opted for a Sierra Nevada pale ale which tasted great.
We each ordered a full sized pizza, the 'Local' & 'Hot N Spicy pizzas', and side of Garlic Parmesan fries. The pizzas were quite nice, I found the Local a little bland but the hot & spicy had a better kick to it! They also cooled down very quickly so we asked to get them reheated. The waiters were very helpful and had the pizza back to us in 5 mins. The Parmesan fries were amazing. Super tasty and a huge size, perfect for sharing. The slider burgers coming from the kitchen looked delicious also so will come back for them and the Parmesan fries for sure. Good food and really attentive staff, also great location if you don't want to trek to town!
The whole meal of macaroni and cheese with chosizo with a side of bbq chicken wings and garlic fries was amazing. Perfect amount of bbq sauce on the wings and cooked to perfection. The service was excellent. I will 100% be back.
Order the recommended special chicken burger, blue cheese, avocado, cucumber and crispy onion strings. Was nice, but regret not going for the pizza and calamari. We be venturing back 100%.
Great new pizza place in Rathgar, loved the garlic Parmesan fries but the pizza was the best I've had in a long time. My friend got the mac and cheese, which tasted amazing but you'd be doing well to finish the bowl, the portions are massive.
Really cool spot definitely worth a visit!
