If you are looking for a place where you can relax and enjoy great food in a modern (yet retro)and clean environment ,Edd's Diner is the place for you. Try the Taco chips and Eddies quarter pounders and I will be very surprised if you find better anywhere else..everything is homemade including the sauces and with the high standards that are set in the kitchen by the chef and owner Eddie Broughan you will not find a better prepared meal anywhere else. It's a fun place with friendly staff that will put you at ease as soon as you sit down. This diner is exactly what is needed in the town. The staff have handled the opening of the diner on the busiest weekend of the year in portarlington with the French festival at full throttle right on their door step with the upmost of professionalism and catered for the masses by great team work.. This diner is going to be here for a very long time.

I am a regular to Ed’s but yesterday booked in a large family meal for my son’s confirmation and as always everything was fantastic! The portions are huge and well Priced, the place is lovely, the staff so friendly and everyone was very full and very impressed on leaving � Thanks to all in Ed’s for making our day more enjoyable xxx

First off, scrummy food - even catering for a vegetarian like myself with a veggie burger ! Such a nice treat! Will have to go back if only to work my way through all the delicious milkshakes . The extensive menu has something for everyone. Friendly helpful staff, great atmosphere & decor, definitely a super dining addition to Port & well worth a (few ) visit(s)
