One of the best brunch in Dublin. The quality of the food is outstanding, no fat at all and well cooked. We had a cake for dessert as well which was fabulous.
I had to drag my hungover self here but it was all worth it. On a sunny Saturday morning, I sat outside with my sisters admiring the view, its amaazing!
I went for pancakes, bacon and maple syrup (the obvious choice) and some orange juice. A little stingy on the maple syrup, I should really have asked for more. My sister had the huevos rancheros. They looked so good and she kept saying they tasted it too!
For a weekend brunch on a nice day this spot is perfect. We even drove down to the beach afterwards and had an icecream! I'll definitely be back.
The Gourmet Food Parlour is a nice place to meet up with friends and grab lunch.
It has a great view of the coast in Malahide. They have a great menu with choice of sandwiches, salads and lunch time favourites. On the weekends they serve all day brunch with different breakfast style meals.
I recently went and enjoyed the kick start breakfast. My only fault was that I ordered a cappuccino and it came out after I received my meal and usually I would like for my drink to come out first but other than this I would definitely recommend it.
Visited Gourmet Food Parlour this morning with a friend for brunch. The place was busy as usual but only had a short wait for a table. We were however waiting quite a while for someone to take our order. That said, our food and drinks were then served really quickly! I went for the huevos Ranchero's which I've had before and just can't resist. They're the best@ I've tried anywhere and really filling! I also had a hot chocolate which was really nice and just the right size! My friend Natalie Murphy was slightly disappointed with her choice of chicken quesadillas which she found a bit bland. The menu is really expansive though so I'm sure we'll be back again!!
GFP is local to me but somewhere I had never visited until today! We were waiting about 5 minutes for a table which was good considering how busy the place was. Honestly couldn't make up my mind as to what to order. They have a brunch menu but also a breakfast, lunch and some random bits on the menu too. In the end I went with the chicken quesadilla which was served with sour cream, quacalmole and salsa and a side of fries. It was a nice enough dish, the chicken was a bit bland though - I would have preferred it they had a bit more flavour instead of having to rely on the dips.
I had a serious case of ordering regret once I saw my friends dish though. She got the huevos rancheros which she had gotten before and raves about! They looked delicious, so I'd definitely be tempted to return to sample them, or something else off the menu! We both had a hot chocolate which was nicely served in a glass with a giant marshmallow on top. Cost of both dishes with 2 hot chocolates was about €28. The setting of GFP is on the coast road between Malahide and Portmarnock and looks out over the sea which would be gorgeous for a summers lunch!
Gourmet Food Parlour in swords is one of my favourite places to eat so I was shocked to find that there was one also in Malahide. It's quite hidden beside the gym on the coast road. Went from brunch and got the roast chicken sandwich. It was a little bit dry it would have been nicer with a bit more sauce. The cous cous it came with though was lovely. There's a lovely view looking out over the beach. The staff were fine, it was sometimes hard to get their attention though. They also charged me €1 for TAP WATER!!! I thought this was insane so I'm definitely nocking them down a few points for that.
Really nice spot to stop grab brunch. It has great views, is really bright and there is so much choice on the menu.
I had a salad with smoked salmon and it came with pleanty of salmon. Really really nice and the prices are very reasonable.
Would highly recommend and will definately return.
Pretty impressed with this place! Overlooking the coast in Malahide. I had vegan wrap with sweet potato fries was super tasty and we got a jug of elderflower cordial for the table. It was so packed. Lots of families there with young kids. It's really family friendly and there's rocking horses etc. lovely place to have breakfast or lunch on a Sunday! Someone at the table next to us had what looked like the vegetarian breakfast which looked unreal too! Our meals were 11 euro each so not that bad!
I went here earlier for Sunday brunch. It is a lovely cafe with a great view of the sea front in Malahide. Large menu with great choice. I got the low fat chicken wrap with sweet potato fries on the side. The wrap was tasty and so filling I probably didn't even need the fries although the sweet potato fries were amazing. My sister an I got elderflower cordial to share which was refreshing. Overall great experience
I went to the Gourmet Food Parlour for lunch on Saturday, I had the chicken quesadilla it was delicious. Unfortunately the service doesn't match the standard of food. If you have plenty of time to sit over a meal and aren't starving I'd definitely recommend here.
