Really enjoyed dining in Scotch Bonnet. This is our 2nd visit. Good menu choices both for adults and kids. Great rapport with staff who were very helpful with advice on choice of meal/dish. Excellent meal and all very very satisfied with choices made.
Delicious food, friendly staff, reasonable price, can't faulted it. They were very accommodating and made my Mum's birthday dinner a lovely event. I would highly recommend and I will return. Bonus - they do a gorgeous Sticky Toffee Pudding which is generally a desert difficult to find in restaurants let alone a version this tasty!
I came here one Saturday evening for dinner with my family. We were seated in a cosy corner booth which was comfortable for those on the inside but not so for those seated on the backless high stools. Despite this the staff were all extremely friendly and efficient and the cost was very reasonable. A big shoutout went to the ribs which four people in the party chose. The small portion was plenty for me also when paired with a side.

My go-to spot for comfort/hangover food, always split the large ribs and wings. They are both so delicious. The ribs are the best I've ever had, so tender they fall off the bone and with just the right amount of sauce - the skinny fries & coleslaw are a great side to the ribs. Super family friendly spot if you're based around Malahide area!
Lovely place that does great food. I got the BBQ ribs with chips with onion rings. They were absolutely delicious. They were quite pricey and while it looked like alot, there was little meat on the ribs. Very tasty though
Such a lovely place, super cosy and really nice atmosphere. I tried the ribs with chips and coleslaw and they were delicious, such a nice and comforting meal after a busy morning. It was €17 for the rack of ribs, chips and coleslaw - a little pricey but if you added a side and shared between two there would be more than enough. I would recommend this place for lunch or a dinner and I happened to see on their menu., if it's your birthday and 8 or people are eating, the birthday girl eats free.
Also apologies for he picture of the ribs, ate it straight away!
Can't think of a better spot for a casual dinner in Malahide! The food is really great and the portions are very generous! They're known for their wings and I think they're definitely up there along with TriBeCa and elephant and castle. I went for the large wings (€15) which must have had about 3 dozen wings was almost impossible to finish! My friend went for the chicken burger with skinny fries and onion rings on the side which was apparently equally nice. We had a VIP membership thing from signing up the last time we were in so the whole table got a FREE dessert (or we could have had a free cocktail either)! I went for the chocolate brownie - so so fab with loads of sauce and ice cream and a mint chocolate swirl biscuit on top! The cookies and cream ice cream looked equally nice. We opted for the €2 bottomless bottled water as apparently they have some weird limit on tap water? Not too sure but great spot in terms of food, value and staff - would Definitely recommend! Lovely touches like the envelope with the bill in the pictures too!
Scotch Bonnet is a fun place to go and eat. Food is excellent especially the new Lamb Burger absolutely delicious!!!!! Staff are brilliant always engage with us when we are there extremely attentive without being intrusive. Decor is funky along with the music. Highly recommend.
Scotch Bonnet never seems to disappoint, they cater for everything from a meal for two to large groups. The menu has a large selection to choose form including BBQ ribs and spicy chicken wings that are amazing! I don't usually get dessert but the sticky toffee pudding is a must!
Was looking forward to trying this place for a long time but was let down if i'm being honest. Real nice layout and interior and relaxed atmosphere. We went for a large portion of buffalo wings, which were some of the nicest wings i've tasted in Ireland...but at €15 for an average portion was very overpriced. Had a burger for mains which was tasty but again overpriced. All in all i would go back here for the wings alone and maybe try a different main.
Loved it here... Heard about it through word of mouth And decided to try it for myself and was very pleased I got wings and lemon and thyme pasta.. It was gorgeous! Pub setting, quite and cosy! Would definitely go back 😁
Scotch bonnet used to be my family's go to place for dinner. Had stopped after the wings went downhill. Went for the first time in ages the other night and had an amazing meal. Couldn't fault anything. Had one of their lovely cocktails which I think are a new addition to the menu. For starters, we shared the calamari and muscles. Best calamari I've ever had. For mains, we shared a full rack of ribs and a portion of wings. The wings are back to their high standard. Not usually a ribs type of person but they were amazing! Would definitely recommend them and I will be getting my own serving next time! Too good to share. For dessert, we had the chocolate fudge cake and the sticky toffee pudding which is a must!
