My first time in new function room for a wedding. It was amazing. The place looks beautiful. Staff are great and so nice. Food was fab. If there was more than 5 stars I would give it. I can highly recommend. It's a fab venue and place.

Definitely the place to stay if you have special dietary requirements - Gluten, Lactose and Egg intolerant
My husband and I stayed in Royal Valentia on March 11th-14th 2016. I had notified them beforehand about my dietary requirements (coeliac, lactose and egg intolerant) but, going by past experience in other hotels, I brought some bread, crackers non-dairy spread etc. On checking in the girl in reception greeted me with the comment "you're very welcome and I hope you enjoy your stay. We have some special menus for you". Well that's a great start I thought. Got up to our room and the first thing I noticed was a covered jug of Soya milk. Brilliant! Well I can only say that after that it just got better and better. Every meal had a wonderful selection laid out on a separate menu, and for breakfast I was offered GF cereals, fresh fruit and FULL cooked GF/DF breakfast and both multigrain and white bread. What can I say - I have only every experienced this kind of breakfast when I make it myself. The staff were so friendly and so helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean, warm and fresh. We loved it and will definitely be back to this magical island. Thank you to all the staff in Royal Valentia.
Stunning food, lovely staff, great location and if your self catering, which we are, they will do all of the food on menu as takeaways.
