Family and I decided to pop in for a spot of lunch yesterday and while the menu looked very appealing my wife and I decided to share the Afternoon Tea Platter while the kids went for the burger. We couldn't believe what arrived! The Platter was in short ... amazing. The mini burgers were gorgeous while the sausages had a lovely honey and mustard dressing which we were pleasantly surprised by, as the dressing itself is like a glaze so we simply didn't even notice it at first! Next came the ham hock with a little sauce to complement it. It was my first to taste this particular dish and wasn't disapointed. The highlight for me was the Trout Crocettes - they were so delicate and cast me back Barcelona in fact! Simply delicious. All of this was served with a attractive salad and some of the best chips I have had in a long time. At the very top were some dainty and delectable lemon merangues and fresh strawberries and cream - YUMMY! The kids mentioned that it was possibly the best burger they ever had! We were served by David who was very friendly and attentive at all times. Safe to say we will be back, soon very soon. A wonderful experience.
