Excellent cod fish with chips. Fish was amazing deep fried and crispy outside and fleshy inside. Love and try this if you love sea food.....

I arrived at this outlet of Leo Burdock absolutely famished, so that may have clouded my judgement.
I ordered some fresh cod and chips. The chips were thick and very delicious, especially when combined with the garlic sauce I also asked for. The cod was slightly underwhelming. I guess they don't salt it much to abide to try to satisfy everyone (anyone who wants more salt can add it at their table), but a bit more taste would be great. Not that it wasn't good, though!
The portion was very well served and satisfying, for a fair value.
The place is not especially welcoming, but the staff is friendly.

Had a portion of their famous chips today before a lovely walk along the coast and I wasn't disappointed. Chips were perfectly cooked and the batter on the onion rings was second to none!
