Ducked to avoid the rain, the staff were helpful nd happy to recommend a few beers to try, the local music was great, didn't take long for the place to fill up, anyone visiting Falway should visit and have a beer.

Great bar. We went in to watch the Ireland v South Africa rugby match. We were visiting Galway for the weekend celebrating a friend's birthday. The staff were great very friendly and welcoming and up for the bit of Craic. And free beer for all during the game. Will definitely be back the next time we visit Galway

Taaffees in Galway is a great venue for all music lovers. All bands are great musicians and banter well with the audience. The atmosphere is always great and although nearly always packed to capacity it is one of the best entertainment venues I have been in. It is definitely enjoyed by our American Visitors
