I ordered a spice box from Mr. Chen's today at approximately 6:40. I gave the woman my address and phone number and everything seemed perfect. Forty minutes later, I called to check on my delivery and I was told, (quite aggressively) that the driver was outside and had been waiting outside for ten minutes, she also said that he had called me many times, although I never got any calls. Ten minutes later I decided to call again and make sure the details were correct and behold, my address and phone number had been taken down incorrectly. Once the mistake had been cleared I waited by my gate as I knew the driver was lost. He called me and was very rude on the phone demanding directions to my house. A little time later, a car pulled up across the road. The delivery man got out and came to deliver my food to me. The first thing he said to me was, and I quote, "you should order from somewhere closer next time" (I live in Ranelagh so he was implying that I should not order from terenure as it is a *long journey* for him) he then shoved the bag towards me and then threw the receipt roughly at me so it landed on the ground by my feet as did all my change that he had dropped. He aggressively picked up his stuff whilst cursing under his breath. I was more than shocked by his behaviour towards me as he was over an hour late. My food was luke warm but still very tasty. If Mr. Chen didn't do such a good spice box, I have to say I would never order from there again as I later found out, by talking to a friend of mine, that this particular delivery man was very rude to them as well when they did not answer the door quick enough. Now, I do not want to give the take away a bad review as the food is exceptionally tasty and normally the delivery workers are very friendly but, I'm sending a WARNING to all customers ordering a delivery on a Friday (that's when this particular man seems to work) to be careful. I searched the Internet for the managers email, because I believe that if I talk to him directly, something will be done, but I could not find it, if anyone knows how I can contact the manager I would greatly appreciate if you could tell me !
