One of the most popular restaurants on Capel Street, this place always remains crowded. When I tried for the first time, I had the garlic chicken along with chicken fried rice. The food was descent, a good experience overall. The chicken pieces came in a good portion and were quite succulent. The rice was very nicely prepared. The restaurant being always full, its not easy for the staff to manage everything properly. But still, it was impressive to see them doing a good job. The decor is Cantonese, a very obvious giveaway for a Chinese restaurant. I found the menu to be a bit too lengthy which can be shortened up a little, focusing on the important and trending dishes. Otherwise, this is a pretty descent place with a good value for money.
Try all kinda food there and all finish . BBQ , hot pot and Japanese . Dumping was yummy too. 5 star for price and location and service . Must try with family and friends again soon.
Hilan is a nice restaurant, serving good Korean and Chinese food on Capel Street. Where they really excel, however, is their Korean BBQ. The tables have a built in BBQ in them, and you're served plates of raw, sliced meat that you can cook yourself, to your own liking, in your own time. This is a great way to spend an evening with friends, relaxing and enjoying some great slow food over a few beers and a chat. The restaurant itself is nicely laid out, and the service is great. I highly recommend checking-out Hilan a.s.a.p
