Was pleasantly surprised by Saba this evening, had gone off it entirely. My prawn chilli stir fry was as tasty as it was generous in shellfish. Mum's chicken curry lacked veg but hit the spot. Two happy ladies this evening!
Order from here on a regular basis. The food is good value and it always arrives on time. They have great paleo and superfood salad options if you want a healthy meal. Their noodle dishes are delicious. You can have a choice of chicken, beef, duck, extra veg, prawns or tofu with most dishes. They charge a little extra for Brown rice (which is more red than brown) but it's worth the little extra. The food is always delivered with complimentary crackers with a side of sweet chilli dipping sauce. They aren't your regular prawn crackers as they are golden in colour and therefore taste much better. I would recommend this place when you want a healthy meal but don't feel in the mood to cook!
This is a great little take away spot for Thai food. Very very tasty food, cooked brilliantly full of flavours and spices and yet (for a take way option) remaining fairly healthy!
Nice drinks or wine to order with your meal, I would recommend the pattaya or the Chiang rai (sometimes can be very hot and spicy be warned).
I would only give it minus half a point as it's a little pricey for take away and maybe some better meal deals could be offered but I love it and go back to it every 2/3 weeks. Better quality than any other Thai food I have had in Dublin.
Saba To Go is a fantastic takeout situated on the top of Rathgar Road. They have a huge menu and variety of dishes which they are constantly updating to meet their customers expectations. They have a great selection of wok, curry and noodle dishes and carry Paleo, gluten free & dairy free options also so very much cater to any dietary requirements. The menu also details the calorie count in each dish which means you can make healthy choices and don't have to feel guilty about this takeaway! Most importantly the food is delicious. They use the freshest ingredients and food is always delivered piping hot. My favourite would have to be the green curry and Phad Kraprow perfect if you you are looking for something nice & spicy! A final bonus is the great wine selection and Nobo which I absolutely love. Saba To Go has everything to make the perfect takeaway! I would 100% recommend.
Nice little take out place. Wide choice and quick service. Really good portion sizes and plenty on the menu for everyone. Will definitely be back!
Excellent takeaway, tasted really fresh and was piping hot when we got it. Took a bit of time to come so order early. Recommend the pork dumpling, really unusual and so tasty!
Absolutely love Saba. I eat alot of Thai food but I find Saba the tastiest and freshest in Dublin. I love how the calories in each dish are clearly displayed and saving on Calories does not mean saving on taste.
Saba is a reliable Thai and Vietnamese takeaway, consistently delivering good quality food, and last night it was the same as ever. I went for the green curry with chicken, which came with plenty of veg and was lovely. I also shared the hoisin duck pancakes which were fresh and tasty.
This is my go-to Thai take away and it never disappoints! I'm a huge fan of the restaurant in town so it was a no brainer for me as the food is very similar! I moved house recently and was pleasantly surprised when they said they would deliver as I am nearly 3 miles from Rathmines now which was great news!
I'm sometimes lacking in adventure when it comes to the menu and normally go for the Massaman curry and change it up a bit with the starters but based on my experiences it's a top notch take-away and the service is generally good as they will usually arrive on time.
I have walked past Saba many times before and I’ve always wanted to try it out. Unfortunately I have yet to make it to the restaurant but I got a delivery from Saba To Go last night. I had the Massaman chicken curry, i’m not a big fan of spicy curries so this was ideal. It was very tasty and a decent sized portion. Some great thai food for a reasonable price!
