'Le Drunch' At the Marker Hotel a time between lunch and dinner on a Sunday afternoon.

Yesterday myself and my sister headed into The Marker for Le Drunch.
We Had a lovely afternoon and I was very impressed from start to finish. We enjoyed three courses of delicious food and sipped on cocktails throughout. The staff were very friendly always making sure we had drinks on the table. I couldn't fault anything about it. The price is quite high but it is worth it because of its such high standards.

I will hopefully be returning in the future :)

Went here last October on date night and really enjoyed it. €33 for a three course menu which good value considering the food and service were of such high quality. To start we were given plenty of bread in these small potato bags, such a nice touch. For starter I got the cured salmon and for the main I got hake on risotto. Both dishes were delicious, the fish was cooked perfectly. My favourite dish was the dessert, chai chocolate mousse with fennel seed. Ive never tried these flavour combinations before. The mousse was smooth and dense. Very enjoyable night, I wish the salmon was bigger though!

I had the "drunch" here recently which is a new take on the typical brunch that is ever so popular. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and the place was surprisingly quiet. We were swiftly handed a Bellini from one of the very attentive waiting staff. For me it was a little bit on the sweet side but my friend really enjoyed it. When I saw poutine on the menu I had to try that so we had that as a starter. While the chips and pulled boar topping were perfect, there was only a very small amount of cheese which I couldn't taste. My spicy scrambled eggs were tasty but unfortunately had far too much caramelised onion which overpowered the dish. A Hendricks gin martini was a lovely refreshing finish. The food here is just almost there and with just a few tweaks things could be great.

I must say, the Brasserie has the best pre-theatre menu I've tried so far. Excellent selection of fish options; the perfect balance between fine dining and homely nourishment. Absolutely beautiful. The only downside was having to choose between all the delicious options! I will definitely be back. Great value for money; an extra treat to the evening if you head upstairs in the lift to the marker rooftop bar for an after dinner cocktail 🍹

I would recommend The Brasserie at Marker Hotel to everyone looking for a brilliant dinner. The atmosphere in the place and the wonderful staff was plus to the amazing new menu that came out last week. 3 courses for 33€ was a brilliant bargain for the top quality food we had. Special mentions to the staff who were all over us . Overall an amazing experience and definitely going back soon.

Food was amazing, I had the scallops to start and the pork belly for mains. The portion sizes were larger than average but the service really stole the show!! So well looked after!!

After hearing so many good things about Cronuts, I decided to tick them off my foodie bucket list and grab a couple of boxes to share with the office as a Friday treat. They didn't disappoint. We all loved them. I expected them to be a little crispier if I'm honest as I'm new to the 'Cronut' scene and didn't really know what I was in for, but they were delicious regardless. 👌🏼👏🏼

Where do I begin with our wonderful evening at the brasserie?!
Let's start with the service. Our maitre'd was friendly and gracious. His recommendations were not only intuitive but hit the spot.
The wine was superb and the artisanal butter... Oh my! The best I've ever had!
For starters we ordered the minestrone soup which came with a twist and for all you vegan people out there an absolute go to starter.
The oysters were fresh and as my husband would like to describe it 'you could taste the sea!' 😃
His steak was cooked to perfection and my leek and mushroom risotto was God sent.
And desert ...the coconut sorbet was refreshing, light and delicate.
The maitre'd was kind enough to book us a spot at the rooftop bar which was probably the best way to end the night after an early and absolutely sumptuous dinner.
We would definitely be heading back to the brasserie again not only for their decadent food but also for the amazing view of the bord gais theatre, the ambience and the impeccable and friendly service. A big thumbs up!

Ate in The Marker Hotel for the first time last night, and I was very impressed. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly member of staff, and seated by a fabulous window seat. Our waitress for the night was extremely pleasant, helpful and attentive. We went with the pre-theatre menu which is incredible value - 2 courses for €28!! I had the soup, and my boyfriend had the spiced beef brisket croquette. Although I cannot fault the soup and the bread was delicious, I would definitely recommend the beef brisket - it was mouth-watering! We both went for the roasted cod fillet as our main, and what a great choice! We ordered an extra side of chunky fries, but struggled to finish them. Needless to say our plates were left empty, it was divine! Also a fantastic location for those attending a show in the Bord Gáis Theatre afterwards!

I had a wonderful Saturday night in The Marker. We kick started our night with cocktails on the rooftop and enjoyed a delicious meal in the Brasserie.

The menu seemed small to me but really there is a great selection with large detail in the menu. I skipped starters this time and had a very hard time choosing a main, everything on the menu sounded beautiful but I decided to try something more unusual and ordered the pork cheek. The pork was amazing, my plate looked too good to eat and it was bursting with flavour. I was so pleasantly surprised to find the pork just melted in my mouth, it was perfectly cooked and all the elements on the plate tasted incredible together. My friend got the duck and equally shared my views on the look, taste and flavour of the dish.

For dessert I tried a white chocolate, coconut and kiwi parfait which was amazing, the explosion of taste in your mouth is actually hard to deal with, the creaminess of the white chocolate, tartness of the kiwi and the sweet and cool flavours of the coconut ice cream. It is by far one of the best desserts I have ever had.

We enjoyed all this with a bottle of Masi Pinit Grigio!

Overall I would highly recommend the brasserie. The average cost of a main meal is €25 which is costly enough but you are paying for really wonderful food. It's a treat to eat such great food and it's definitely worth every penny.

The only negative thing I would mention is that I found service to be slow, we waited 20 minutes for someone to take a drinks order, it was a busy night and service was fine after that. Staff were very attentive, kind and courteous.

This is definitely a must try for foodies in Dublin and anyone who tries the Brasserie will not be disappointed! I will definitely be back!

I ate here for the first time last week, the place itself is stunning, the style and design very much compliments its surroundings of Grand Canal Square. The waiter was French, he was really nice and very professional, we asked him for 2 surprise Rum Cocktails to begin and he gave us the perfect cocktail which was such a nice touch to start the evening. He then gave us really nice wine recommendations to compliment the starters and mains . I ordered the Flamed Red Mullet for starters. something I haven't had before as a starter and it was amazing, I also tried the New Season Salad which my friend had, again it was stunning. For mains I had Pan Fried Sea Bass, the presentation was beautiful and it tasted first class. Once we finished dinner we asked the staff could we go upstairs to the roof top terrace to finish the evening, we got brought up by the staff and for those of you who haven't been up here, it is probably one of the nicest views and best roof top terraces I have been to in Dublin. I will definitely be going back to The Brasserie. it was beyond my expectations for service and quality. Loved it.

Goodbye brunch, hello 'Le Drunch' a time that sits between lunch and dinner and fits perfectly on a Sunday afternoon. My partner and I brought the Mammies to The Brasserie for 'Le Drunch' and it blew their sock off!

Picture this - a super trendy scene with the in-house DJ Gill M playing chilled out tunes while you sit back relax and sip on strawberry cocktails and refreshing watermelon martinis.

We ordered Dublin bay prawns and freshly shucked Galway oysters to start and they were delicious.

The staff allow you to take your time and really enjoy the entire dining experience in the spacious and modern surroundings. The Brasserie has a cool relaxed ambience, three hours had passed and we hadn't even felt the time go by. The staff are very attentive and friendly. There wasn't an empty glass (or belly) at the table!

There are six sections to the menu, Quench (drinks), Fresh (starters), Comfort (mains), Sides (sides), Share (sharing platters), More (dessert) we ordered something from each section and enjoyed every morsel that was served and quickly consumed.

The food in The Brasserie is outstanding, every element of our 3 course meal was cooked to perfection and elegantly presented. Each mouthful of food equally delicious to the next.

Some might say it's a little pricey but you get what you pay for! The standard is high and the overall experience is worth every cent.

I will most definitely be back in Grand Canal Square to enjoy a long Sunday afternoon grazing on the most delicious dishes in Dublin City. Sunday's will never be the same again!

Wow! I was in the marker hotel for the first time on Thursday and to say I was impressed would be an understatement! We enjoyed a pre dinner drink on the rooftop bar followed by a scrumptious meal in the brasserie. The food and service were amazing from beginning to end!

The Brasserie restaurant in The Marker Hotel is definitely one to visit. I would recommend here if your booked in to see a show in the Bord Gáis theatre as they offer a 'Pre Show' menu which contains quick and tasty dishes. The bar to the right of the restaurant is a must if your slightly early for your sitting. It has a wide variety of beverages and a wide modern fire to keep you warm.
