Lovely atmosphere. Most helpful staff. Delicious food and just a cozy place to eat. The tasting menus are highly recommended for variety and value.
Best restaurant in the whole area. We love it here. Real authentic Indian food, and naan bread to die for!!! Great personal service from lovely staff. Couldn't ask for better.
A lovely little restaurant just a 2 minute walk from the town centre. Have been here twice and am looking forward to my third trip. The early bird menu is excellent value and the food is very, very tasty!
I have only had take away from the Konkan and I think it's one of the best Indians. They have all the old favourites plus a few more interesting dishes
Went there for the second time last weekend, we had the early bird and it was definitely great value! The onion fritters with the spicy mint sauce were very tasty, I really enjoyed the dip. I also ordered chicken tikka masala with naan as I didn't want anything too spicy. My friend had kebab with chicken korma, which were very good as well, although I preferred the food I ordered. :) I will definitely go back there.
This is a great little Indian not even 5 minutes walk from Dundrum shopping centre. It's quite small but that only adds to it. I had the seekh kebab to start and it was beautiful. The lamb was very good and the mint sauce was proper mint sauce, not any of that runny stuff. We shared our mains, we had the lamb rogan josh for a main (bit of a theme running here) and we got a chicken dish as well. I can't remember the name now. The early bird menu is great value. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking to get indian that's not take-away.
The appeal for eating at Konhan is that it is a small, intimate restaurant, away from the hustle and bustle of Dundrum shopping centre. For starter I had the Murgh Kali Mirch which was very tender. Luc had the vegetarian mixed starter. The onion bhajis was delicious! For main I went for the chicken madras which the waiter warned me was quite spicy and he was right! If you are looking for spicy, this is what you need! Luc ordered the lamb chettinad which was cooked in a coconut sauce and still had a bit of a spicy kick!! The bill came to €60 which included a beer and a glass of wine.
This is a great Indian take away! Staff are friendly! The food is really tasty and the portions are huge! They do great deals for two! Really good value! I would ring to order in advance as you can be waiting awhile! If you are collecting the food there's not a lot of parking around so it's handy if you have another person to run in to collect it!
