I was going to say lucky anytime we went to fishbone but that would be unfair to what I consider to be a great place to eat. Booked pretty late Friday 21st July for 22nd pre U2 gig meal . We had salmon terrine , Calamari and Mackrell pate for starters . Calamari was.jsut delicious with a lovely sauce to accompany .they were cooked beautifully, tender and batter wasn't oily. My wife had the pate which she has when we go and a.clean plate was.sent back as was.for the terrine by.our friend . For mains my wife had a chicken salad which she enjoyed as she wanted something light, nice juicy pieces of chicken with some good fresh rocket etc and dressing . Our friend had the burger which amuses me as to why in a fish restaurant you would get meat but he enjoyed it .I had the Lobster roll which surprised me that it came in a long brioche bun .I really enjoyed it with the fries . I had in my mind it was.going to something along the lines of a sushi roll . Though surprises are good. Along with 2 drinks each bill came to €120 and to me it was worth every cent . A very friendly waitress brought us some nice cold water with out the need to ask for it . I love fishbone apart from the food the decor location all adds up to a.great place to eat .

This restaurant is well worth a visit. Quirky, atmospheric and well situated overlooking the sea. It also has a lovely terrace out front on a sunny day with a glass of wine, a cauldron of mussels and some garlic bread, cant think of anything nicer. Fabulous and extensive menu full of the freshest fish, with something for everybody. Highly recommend the fish platter for 2. The crème brulee was also delicious and best chicken wings that I have had in ages. Best of all the staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful. Will be returning again very soon...

One of my favourite restaurants! Can honestly say I have never had a bad experience at fishbone, the food is excellent and always consistent and the service is so friendly and attentive. We had the nicest meal there tonight, the prawns pil and the monkfish tacos are amazing! Highly recommend+++
