It's a lovely place with a good atmosphere. Pleasant and kind staff. Besides that it's the best Italian food I've eaten in Dublin. I really recommend it.
Been here on 4 different occasions and each time just as good,food is excellent and done just the way u ask for it,staff are so friendly and very welcoming,would definitely recommend it and with a set menu of €22 and bring ure own wine it's an affordable night out
A small cosy Italian on Camden Street.I went here for lunch during weekday. Most of options on lunch menu looked amazing.i ordered the steak sandwich with soup. The steak sandwich was so juicy and delicious. The added chorizo was a nice spicy touch. Thankfully I had the tasty soup to ease the spice off. Also the sandwich was served on a smaller bread which I think it's a plus. The place is also nicely decorated and staff are friendly.
I was in Monto last night for a BYOB dinner. This place is a hidden gem!!! The food was really tasty - I got the Mediterranean chicken and prawns, and my friend got the chicken Alfredo. Both were delish. The staff were so lovely. The place was absolutely buzzing and had a great atmosphere for a Friday night. Brilliant place to start an evening out! I'll definitely be back.
Amazing food- got the chicken supreme and sticky toffee pudding for dessert! lots of choice from meat dishes to Italian dishes, great atmosphere-relaxed but busy! extremely friendly staff- our waitress was so nice and there was always someone around if you needed anything! Definitely would go here again 👌
My second time in this little gem of a restaurant. Had a catch up with three friends last night and I cannot speak highly enough about this place. We all really enjoyed our food and the staff are sooooo friendly. A must if you haven't tried it yet, you wont be disappointed.Helen
An absolute hidden gem on Camden street! This BYOB was packed on Saturday night so I would recommend booking in advance. A great selection on the menu I opted for carbonara but everything that came to the table looked amazing! You can bring in as much drink as you like and staff don't rush you, we stayed here till 12 and then moved on for our night out! Such reasonable prices with no corkage- my dinner cost €14 including tip! Can't wait to come back
Was here last night with a food voucher on a food date and the place didn't disappoint from the start. With an open kitchen, leather couches, tables with tree trunks as base and nice music, the ambience was very welcoming.
The menu at the place was very diverse with starters, salads, butcher, seafood and pizza options. Chose the wings for starters and the tender wings with the louisiana hot sauce were an absolute delight to the tongue. Surf n Turf for the mains was delicious along with the beautiful presentation. Chose creamy mash but it was the only flaw in the experience here as the mash was far from creamy. 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce sealed the deal for dessert.
Overall with very courteous staff and a cozy ambience Monto Cafe is a great food date spot .
I've only been once but the menu seems quite diverse so I'll be going back over the next while. I would recommend the Spanish steak sandwich. Staff were nice and overall a nice place.
