Stumbled across this place today. Unreal cakes. A tad on the pricey side at first glance but after eating the cakes I would pay twice the price.

The wooden whisk is a little oasis on a 2 euro shop street! Quick service, healthy options or indulgent treats to pick up your afternoon, perfect for a pop in lunch or coffee.

Charming little spot for a soup & sandwich or a dessert, they have a wide selection of different cakes and pastries to entice you in! Lovely staff, always very prompt service.

Such Food.

I was first drawn into this lovely little shop by the smell of the cream cakes - it sneaks up your nostrils and hits deep in that part of the brain that brings back birthdays with trifle and party hats and toys galore.
Once inside, it’s easy to find a seat, the large pastel coloured room has plenty spots for a sit, though I was there in the late afternoon so I imagine a couple of hours earlier the place could have been heaving during lunch.
I went for a simple latte with croissant - not terribly exciting but I’d eaten just a couple of hours previous. Both were grand, and the staff were very friendly! Smashing spot to stop at.
