This restaurant is wonderful in every way- food, staff, location,(I'm referring to the restaurant in Swords Co. Dublin freshness and variation. Can't recommend this highly enough!!! Will be returning again many times
well in my opinion is great place and great sushi, really fresh fish yum yum!
I really had high hopes for here but I can't give this a five. We got a window table so the views over the river were incredible. Service was largely dreadful and just all over the place. Kind of felt like the staff we first had contact with were so uninterested in being there. What a shame.
We were left waiting about 15-20 minutes for our order to be taken. Another couple that arrived in around the time we ordered got their order taken jays after. That was not good. Really bad first impression.
We ordered white wine which came out in a Le Creuset cooler that kept it nice and chilled on a late summer eve.
The food totally saved the day. It was super fresh and absolutely delicious. Loved all of it. Had the chicken gyoza, the tempura sharing platter and the had a sushi and sashimi combo of tuna, prawns and salmon. Absolutely fabulous. Really five star food but couldn't give a five thanks to the bordering on rude service. The nicest member of staff was the lady that brought us our bill and took payment. At she was polite. Loved the food and the views but I wouldn't be in a rush to return.
If you are in the IFSC area and fancy a quick bite, this place is worth a try. I ordered some blossom tea, sashimi and tempura, all of which I was reasonably happy with. I've had better blossom teas but they deserve a brownie point for stocking these nevertheless. The service was quite slow despite the place not being particularly busy but as it was across the road from where I was staying, it did not bother me too much. My colleague had s couple of drinks here with me and they were ok too. So, overall a reasonable place if you fancy some quick ( or maybe not so quick!) Japanese.
This is a nice wee spot - the restaurant is basically a glass box on the banks of the Liffey and it's very pleasant on a nice day. The menu is Japanese: sushi and sake, noodles and bento boxes, and the food is fresh, tasty and light. I had the chicken soup udon which was massive and flavoursome - and a side order of edamame cos I love them and can't pass them up. They do a €9.50 lunch deal and it makes a nice Friday treat.
Lovely atmosphere and location, reasonably priced. Recommend bento boxes and good selection of beers. However sushi and desserts are ok but not the best.
