This place is hands down the best pizza in Dublin. Fantastic service. great value for money, brilliant atmosphere! Cannot say enough on how delish the food is. Great job guys!!!
Stopped by this place by chance last night we are so happy we did. The server Norman was excellent and the food was amazing! Highly recommend!!!
Perhaps the best pizza in Ireland! If this isn't the best it will be hard to find better and a lot of fun too.
The best pizza I’ve ever eaten! Paulie’s=
Amazing!!!! Best pizza ive ever had. And not only that but the choc brownie was equally delicious! So glad i googled best pizza in dublin as it led me to you. Yummie. Lovely place with smiling polite and friendly staff.
Best food you can have in Dublin! The staff are amazing they're super friendly. This place is just amazing!
Great atmosphere, staff were very friendly & food was fantastic aswel as the cocktails! We will definitely be back.
We popped by yesterday after a match in the Aviva. The place was so busy and we didn't have a booking and the host could not have been more accommodating! & of course the food was amazing <3 Thanks!
Fantastic meal here with my hubby in Paulie's last night. Food was great as always and staff were very lovely too, we will definitely return soon, thank you!!
Great flavors, pizza was amazing, my bruschetta was incredibly tasty. We ll be back
One of my favorite restaurants in Dublin. Great food, nice drinks, excellent service, in a very authentic atmosphere. My favorites are Wood fired Scamorza cheese, or Galway mussels from starters; Hero pizza; Tiramisu and panna cotta of desserts and you must try their Espresso Martini. Booking is a must, and call immediately at 4pm to secure a table for that evening. They only allow bookings for the same day, and are pretty much always full..
Fantastic pizzas and top notch service. Very friendly and attentive staff. Can't wait to go again!
Amazing food with the most friendliest staff I've met. Top place to be for pizza and there cocktails are to die for.
Another Friday and a new venue for lunch with my old mucker Ian. I had the Miro pizza and he had clam linguine. Small venue but it is quality not quantity that brings us to Italian restaurants. After a satisfactory meal we pondered the old conundrum of why do you not mind paying for good food even if it is a bit expensive?
L’av l’av l’av this place. I try to walk away but I choke, the pizza is just too delicious. Cocktail jugs are the shizz. The ambiance is devineee little loud but sure look raise the voice a little. My love for this place is clear. Brownie points for it being on the south siodeee
Was out for a meal after been in the rds all day!! We got 2 pizzas and a salad between 4 of us.. we have never had pizza like them, they were amazing! We had wine then went onto cocktails, we had jugs of cocktails and they were amazing! We wil defiently be back, and Gary who was serving us was great and really friendly and easy on the eyes 😂
Called in this evening for a quick bite to eat and the place was mobbed. We were seated upstairs near the bar and I ordered the bruschetta followed by a hero pizza. We had to wait a bit for it to come out, not surprising given the amount of people in, but we didn't mind and just ordered cocktails as we waited. The staff were lovely, the place had good vibes (though some of the tables were quite close together) and I loved the pizza. This place is well known in the area for it, and it's considered one of the pizza places that a person really has to tick off their list while in the city. I had no room for dessert after, but there was a brownie on the menu that looked excellent - I had to opt for a coffee after and even then I was almost too full to finish it. In a nutshell: Decent value, very decent pizza.
We had a work dinner here last night! Had a gorgeous glass of prosecco, then I shared the mussels to start and they were absolutely delicious! I had the Super Picante pizza for mains which was really tasty....loved the stone oven baked pizza! The staff are lovely and it's a really cute restaurant with a great atmosphere! Highly recommend this place 👌
Had a very quick pizza here a few weeks ago. It was a pity that the table was only available for 45mins as the place was buzzing so definitely book a table.
I ordered the Roxy pizza which was filled with bacon and cheese with a smooth and flavourful tomato sauce and of course chilli for an extra kick. The cheese on the pizza was parmesan which is a welcome change. Niamh Cleary got the double pepperoni which was stacked with meat definitely a meat feast ! I'll be coming back soon for a longer stint for sure
I had been dying to try this place and had very high expectations.
We tried the Prawn pil-pil to start which came with some bruschetta. It was absolutely gorgeous, and the garlic white wine sauce was to die for. It was a generous portion and the prawns were so fresh.
We both had the 'hero' pizza for our mains except I asked for mine with some rocket. As I had heard, the fresh ingredients really add to the pizza and make it so delicious. I was a bit disappointed with the way my pizza was cooked though, the centre of it was perfect, very cheesy and soft but some parts just underneath and around the crust were very overcooked or extra 'stone baked'.... So much that there was a very burnt taste off the edge of the pizza... This was not just a stone baked taste!! But the pizza itself was so good so I worked my way through it avoiding these burnt bits.
The restaurant was so packed it was hard to believe it was a Tuesday evening! We were sitting upstairs, the staff weren't very attentive up there. I definitely want to go back to try it again as I live so close to this place. I think I'd reserve a table downstairs/outside though. The pasta dishes also looked very good.
One of the best pizza I. dublin. Real Neapolitan pizza made on wood oven. But overpriced I think but very very good if you are looking for a good and real pizza.
Authentic italian. Pizza is divine. Can feel a tad cramped at times but the food makes up for this. Casual, relaxed atmosphere. Can also order the pizzas to take away.
I hadn't been to Paulies in a while but really liked their newer menu...The crispy prawn starter with guacamole was delish and huge - really good value for 9 euro. The pizza is lovely- really thin crust and fresh mozzarella and basil with a really nice homemade tomato sauce! It was my first time trying the Tiramisu and it didn't disappoint :)
I was a bit worried about being disappointed when I went here the other night as was worried it wouldn't live up to all the hype and that my expectations were too high. However it met those expectations. I had the Greek pizza and it was one of the nicest pizzas I've ever had. I was really impressed. We had a few pitchers of cocktails to share and really enjoyed them - the elderflower one was lovely, the long island ice tea was okay, but I wouldn't get it again. The tables are quite close together and its a very busy spot but the atmosphere and buzz around the place is brilliant. Cannot wait to go back! New fav pizza place!
Adore this place, the super picante is the perfect choice for a pepperoni lover as the fresh chili and rocket adds to the flavour perfectly. The prawn starter is delicious as is the brownie desert! Best pizza in town.
It's no secret that I have a bit of an obsession with Junior's sandwiches, and so I've been chomping at the bit to get into Paulie's for a pizza. Having had my first taste I cannot wait to get back in for more. I knocked in for dinner last Thursday and the place was buzzin'. Luckily we had a booking as I'd say I would have been left hungry and disappointed otherwise. The place is pretty small inside which creates a nice casual atmosphere. There's the bar area upstairs with a good few tables, and the covered area out front more than doubles downstairs seating. The kitchen is open which is really nice, but also had my belly rumbling from the moment I stepped through the doors. I started off with the bruschetta; really fresh and tasty tomato and basil on the same sourdough bread used for some of Juniors' sambos - ie; thick-cut heaven! After that I moved on to their Hero pizza. Hero by name, hero by nature. It was up there with the best pizza I've ever tried, and despite my being a bit full already from the starter, it was so good that I demolished the entire thing. (They do offer takeaway for your leftovers but I just couldn't help myself) Unbelievably good food all 'round which we washed it down with a jug of the Elderflower Collins, and gorgeous, fruity, gin based cocktail. Top marks for food, atmosphere, and service, I'm pretty much counting down the days 'til I get back for more. Can't recommend it highly enough!
Super pizza! Paulies is always very very busy but it is worth the wait. We rang at 5pm on the day and they were able to give us a table for 7.30, on other occasions when i have called in without a reservation they will generally give you a time to come back, they try to facilitate you as much as possible which is great. The pizzas are huge, full of flavour and there is a great choice on the menu. Lovely atmosphere great for a date night or a catch up with the girls.
Busy little place that has a great reputation and is inevitably very popular! Managed to get a table (you need to ring after 4 on the day you want to book) and had a lovely evening! The reservation process is the only downside to this place as it is slightly inconvenient!
We went for the roxy pizza and got the warm brownie for dessert and I am still dreaming about them both!
It is a must for pizza lovers, I will definitely be back!
Loved the pizza. This is a bit out of the way for me but I had to try it because I've heard so many good things. It did not let me down. I thought the pizza was brilliant, it tasted so fresh and doughy. I was over the moon with it.
Fantastic little pizza place, one of the best in Dublin. The interior is great, but try and avoid sitting outside if you can, this place gets busy. The food is lovely, only slight negative is sometimes the pizza bases can be very very hard to cut but otherwise they taste great. Good collection of drinks too. Definitely coming back.
Awesomeness. Great drinks, food and environment. A must try restaurant if in Dublin.
Been here once for dinner and it was really nice.. Very cosy as a lot of the tables are close together but a really nice atmosphere and it's always nicely busy! Ordered the pizza and it was really fresh and didn't at all feel like the normal greasy guilty pizza you get out!
Very reasonably priced and it's in a great location for drinks afterwards- nice for a date night! Looking forward to going back again! Id recommend the spicy pepperoni !
Upon arrival we were greeted at the door by a lovely member of staff. We were shown to our table promptly. The decor of the restaurant is very inviting . I was particularly impressed by the antique coffee machine that was on display. The open plan kitchen was refreshing. It's nice being able to see how your food is being prepared. Everything about paulies pizza was very relaxed. The food was exquist and the service was impeccable. 10 put of 10
Paulie's Pizzeria is a classy and homely place to spend a couple of hours full of ambience.
Staff are a breath of fresh air and very prompt with their service.
The massive pizza ovens are a delightful feature of the restaurant and it is great to watch the chef's in action.
Great range of starter's and their pizza is to die for.
Upstairs boasts a lovely cocktail bar if you fancy going all out!!
Can't fault this little gem and plan to visit again very soon.
Love the pizza. We normally get their buffalo mozzarella margarita and Mi Mis pizza and the taste never let's us down. Super efficient with great service. Absolutely adore this cosy pizza place next door.
Was in paulies recently, the pizza in this place is by far the best pizza I ever had, the staff are very friendly and prices are very reasonable, be back there soon.
Was in this great restaurant last night for the first time- although Pizza would not normally be my no.1 choice I have to say it is the best Pizza I have had out anywhere - main course was €17 which was one of the more expensive choices on the menu . You have to try their cocktails - €24 for a jug - great value . The service was excellent and very friendly - only slight criticism would be the proximity of table although I suppose it did add to the atmosphere - a very pleasant night !
Love, love, love me a bit of Paulie's Pizza. They always have specials available which appeal to the healthy and the not so healthy side to us all. I must admit that my go to dish here is the Pappardelle Pasta with a Lamb Ragu sauce. Delicious!
