This place is hands down the best pizza in Dublin. Fantastic service. great value for money, brilliant atmosphere! Cannot say enough on how delish the food is. Great job guys!!!
Stopped by this place by chance last night we are so happy we did. The server Norman was excellent and the food was amazing! Highly recommend!!!
Another Friday and a new venue for lunch with my old mucker Ian. I had the Miro pizza and he had clam linguine. Small venue but it is quality not quantity that brings us to Italian restaurants. After a satisfactory meal we pondered the old conundrum of why do you not mind paying for good food even if it is a bit expensive?
L’av l’av l’av this place. I try to walk away but I choke, the pizza is just too delicious. Cocktail jugs are the shizz. The ambiance is devineee little loud but sure look raise the voice a little. My love for this place is clear. Brownie points for it being on the south siodeee
Was out for a meal after been in the rds all day!! We got 2 pizzas and a salad between 4 of us.. we have never had pizza like them, they were amazing! We had wine then went onto cocktails, we had jugs of cocktails and they were amazing! We wil defiently be back, and Gary who was serving us was great and really friendly and easy on the eyes 😂
Called in this evening for a quick bite to eat and the place was mobbed. We were seated upstairs near the bar and I ordered the bruschetta followed by a hero pizza. We had to wait a bit for it to come out, not surprising given the amount of people in, but we didn't mind and just ordered cocktails as we waited. The staff were lovely, the place had good vibes (though some of the tables were quite close together) and I loved the pizza. This place is well known in the area for it, and it's considered one of the pizza places that a person really has to tick off their list while in the city. I had no room for dessert after, but there was a brownie on the menu that looked excellent - I had to opt for a coffee after and even then I was almost too full to finish it. In a nutshell: Decent value, very decent pizza.
We had a work dinner here last night! Had a gorgeous glass of prosecco, then I shared the mussels to start and they were absolutely delicious! I had the Super Picante pizza for mains which was really tasty....loved the stone oven baked pizza! The staff are lovely and it's a really cute restaurant with a great atmosphere! Highly recommend this place 👌
Had a very quick pizza here a few weeks ago. It was a pity that the table was only available for 45mins as the place was buzzing so definitely book a table.
I ordered the Roxy pizza which was filled with bacon and cheese with a smooth and flavourful tomato sauce and of course chilli for an extra kick. The cheese on the pizza was parmesan which is a welcome change. Niamh Cleary got the double pepperoni which was stacked with meat definitely a meat feast ! I'll be coming back soon for a longer stint for sure
I had been dying to try this place and had very high expectations.
We tried the Prawn pil-pil to start which came with some bruschetta. It was absolutely gorgeous, and the garlic white wine sauce was to die for. It was a generous portion and the prawns were so fresh.
We both had the 'hero' pizza for our mains except I asked for mine with some rocket. As I had heard, the fresh ingredients really add to the pizza and make it so delicious. I was a bit disappointed with the way my pizza was cooked though, the centre of it was perfect, very cheesy and soft but some parts just underneath and around the crust were very overcooked or extra 'stone baked'.... So much that there was a very burnt taste off the edge of the pizza... This was not just a stone baked taste!! But the pizza itself was so good so I worked my way through it avoiding these burnt bits.
The restaurant was so packed it was hard to believe it was a Tuesday evening! We were sitting upstairs, the staff weren't very attentive up there. I definitely want to go back to try it again as I live so close to this place. I think I'd reserve a table downstairs/outside though. The pasta dishes also looked very good.
One of the best pizza I. dublin. Real Neapolitan pizza made on wood oven. But overpriced I think but very very good if you are looking for a good and real pizza.
Authentic italian. Pizza is divine. Can feel a tad cramped at times but the food makes up for this. Casual, relaxed atmosphere. Can also order the pizzas to take away.
I hadn't been to Paulies in a while but really liked their newer menu...The crispy prawn starter with guacamole was delish and huge - really good value for 9 euro. The pizza is lovely- really thin crust and fresh mozzarella and basil with a really nice homemade tomato sauce! It was my first time trying the Tiramisu and it didn't disappoint :)
