First time there after the marathon yesterday, so it was really busy, but even with that the staff were fantastic. We were quickly served at the bar (great gin menu!) and then when we asked about food, one of the staff came to get us from the bar to show us to a table really very promptly. We had lovely pub grub... haddock and chips, bangers & mash and Guinness and beef pie. The portions were a great size and all really lovely with a fresh and homemade taste. And then to cap it all, when we asked about getting a taxi, one of the staff booked it for us and came to let us know when it had arrived. We will definitely be back... with service like that at a time when it was packed with hungry and thirsty runners!

Had a surprised 30th last night here for my brother, couldn't recommend this place enough. The finger food was delicious, the staff very accommodating and especially the manager who kept checking in to make sure we were ok, thank you so much �
