Oh man the food here! Stop what you're doing! Do not take the M2 to Galway! Take the old highway and stop in Craughwell for amazing food and a pint at a pub that's been handed down from generation to generation! If you're really lucky you'll meet Rachel, this generations owner. But the food. My god the food! We got the roasted chicken, stuffing and ham and my goodness it was thanksgiving in my mouth!!!

What a gem! After a wonderful cold day exploring the cliffs of Moher, Raftery's staff welcomed us in to sit by the fire and warm up with homemade soups and traditional Irish fare. The staff was incredibly hospitable and the food was spectacular, clearly made with pride and care. I highly recommend you make the trip to Rafterys Bar!
