Went here a few weeks ago with another couple and was unsure of what we would have as vegans. I emailed a few days beforehand assuming we would have a tomato based pasta dish. The vegetarian option was mushroom risotto and the chef had made a vegan version of it especially for us! Another person in our group had the veg risotto, tasted mine and thought it was delicious too. They had told us about their amazing brownie and I was ok not having a dessert. They had a vegan version of the brownie and it was unreal. I would definitely recommend Farmgate for lunch and dinner. By far the nicest meal I've had out since becoming a vegan.

My goto place on a Saturday in cork , great food and great staff . Ruth and her team do a great job . Where else can you eat good food and people watch at the same time � the lamb stew is top of the pops
