As a foreign tourist, this place has changed my vision of the fish'n chips (I thought of it as poor fast food) Excelent fresh food of a considerable size and with great traditional sides. Best value for your money, which will be given to very nice professionals.

Walked into cork from the rail station my wife and I found this place by accident couldn't miss a chance of fish and chips By far the best fish and chips mushy peas and home made tartar sauce we have had. Brilliant staff. Was advised if we wanted to take a seat out side the pub across the road she would fetch the meals over when ready, this is what we did lovely pint of Guinness and a glass of wine and an absolute brilliant meal. Will deffenetly go again next time in Cork

Went to the Fish Wife more than 50 times since I arrived in Cork two years ago.. and I'll probably come back 50 more times in the next two! This lovely & tiny fish&chips is the best place to cure an hangover & the double bacon cheese burger is simply fantastic. I literally can't wait for the new shop to open on grand parade. Keep up the great job guys
