Staying at Abbeyglen was a highlight of our 10 days in Ireland. The hospitality of the staff and the extra touches we received for my husbands 50th Birthday did not go unnoticed. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner in the dining room and evenings in the pub. I Highly recommend Abbeyglen and charming town of Clifden.

This Hotel has everything !All the little touches that endear Paul and Brian to all who stay here.It is comfy cosy olde world chic combined with the most amazing friendly staff who go the extra mile .The breakfast is legendary and the dining room overlooking the Capital of Connemara Cliften is full of happy contented faces . I would highly recommend this wonderful magical hotel as a place to stay and sample the extraordinary hospitality that the Hughes Family show to each and every guest .

Got upgraded to Superior room, which is huge with big bathroom and beautiful little garden outside the room. Breakfast was great with salmon buffet, I had delicious Kippers for hot meal. Definitely recommend this castle hotel.
