Just had a take away from here, we've never eaten here before. Not impressed. First of all, in the order we got, one of the starters was wrong, then all the food was pretty much luke warm when we got it.
We'd get over all of that but the food was just not great. We got massaman beef curry which was very, very, salty and also the crispy chilli chicken with pineapple where the batter was actually slimey with the teeniest pieces of pineapple I've ever seen! Even the boiled rice wasnt cooked well, it was either old or not cooked properly as it was a bit hard and chewy.
The one and only thing that was nice was we ordered the kids super noodles - that was delicious! I don't know what happened to the rest of the food but that was lovely!
*EDIT*
We'd like to give a second review, we got a call from a very nice lady from Lana asking us if we'd give them another chance and I have to say, we're very glad we did!
We decided to eat in the restaurant as we were in the area. It's small but very cosy and the decor is beautiful. The gentleman that greeted us was very accommodating, even though the restaurant was very busy.
The food was 100 times better than last time, I had duck spring rolls and the Singapore noodles and John had the calamari and Lamb Rendang. We were very pleasantly surprised and everything was very fresh and delicious! I must admit I quite enjoyed the very quirky way the food is served too, very cool!
We will be visiting again. It was definitely worth the second visit. Thank you for asking us back. Highly recommended!
First time in Lana lovely cozy restaurant, nice size potions, quick service, very friendly staff and reasonable price, lots to choose from on the menu and free ice cream after the meal went down a treat
Will definitely be back :)
Absolutely amazing! The food was gorgeous, good price, loads of gluten free options for me, the server was well aware all about coeliac disease and was so accommodating to me. Cant wait to go back.
