We went to BR Cafe & Bistro to have lunch and we met the owners Bashkim and Ramona. They are super friendly, really nice people and the place it is soberb! We felt really comfortable, we ordered Tomato and Basil soup...it was delicious, Lasagne with chips and Salad...it was so tasty...the real Italian Lasagne taste, and Penne Pasta with Mushrooms and Cream Sauce, wonderful. It was the best Lasagne I ate in Ireland, and my husband almost ordered another Penne Pasta. But we had desert ahead and an amazing nice cup of coffee to try out! The desert was so good, we choose warm Brownie with Ice Cream and Raspberry Roulade. To finish our amazing meal, we had the best coffee I had for years. They have their own coffee blend, the beans have a smooth and sweet taste, all served by their friendly staff. The coffee is so smooth that we didn't even need sugar :) I will highly recommend this nice place to anyone who are passing by Carrick-on-Shannon! Thank you Bashkim, Ramona and the staff for the excellent food and welcoming.
