Loved this place! I know it's super touristy, but we loved it. The decor was awesome, and felt super medieval. Started the meal with the best Irish coffee I've ever had. Had the fish and chips (a very generous portion!) and this was the best fish and chips I had our entire trip. Breaded crispy and to perfection. The mushy peas were also perfect! Husband had a bacon cheeseburger and was very impressed. Plenty of parking just up the road, and location is convenient to Bunratty Castle, though we were there too late to tour. Will definitely visit again!
A spectacular incredible set menu with wine . Seriously delicious food . I would highly recommend the restaurant. Thanks to the kitchen staff ,I think the man behind the helm is Eugene here for 30 years , he loves and understands food and flavours. Elaine looked after us for the evening and couldn't have been more amazing.
A last word goes to a young American couple with 6 young children. Ye were very bold but thank you so much . Shocked delighted and did try to catch ye before you left .
We are looking forward to coming back and someday meeting the kind American couple xx
Food was AMAZING! My husband & I went twice on our short stay of 5 days here in Ireland. We ordered from the bar menu, both times (so this is not a review for the restaurant portion of the establishment), & was absolutely blown away by how terrific it was. Highly suggest the fish & chips with side salad instead of peas, the salmon panini or the burger. Service was good & the atmosphere was laid back. Definitely would go again & again if we lived here.
