Review update: Further to my earlier review of March 31st two weeks ago (August 14th) we decided to give the Blue Leaf a second chance and we certainly were not disappointed. This time we booked a table for four. Both the service and food were excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive and chatty. The chef even catered for specific garlic dishes that were not on the menu. We would certainly recommend this friendly and intimate restaurant to anyone who finds themselves in the area. Clearly the issues we encountered back in March were teething problems which have since been addressed and ironed out. We are already planning our next visit. March 31st review: Profoundly disappointed. Table reserved for 28th anniversary only to be told a half hour wait. Poor form for a start up with good recommendations. Night ruined. Cheers.
