They do a great student deal for €6.50 and you get a classic beef/chicken burger.
My all time fave is the Smokin' joe, usually paired with the rosemary fries and the onion rings all to share of course!!
They offer refills on fizzy drinks which is a plus too!
Yesterday I had more last minute shopping to do so I nipped into GBK for some food. Between us we had the Blazing Sombrero burger, hand cut fries and small hot wings. All was good, burger delish as per usual & fries and wings where nice. Busy atmosphere yesterday and I felt the staff where eager to turn tables quickly.
GBK have a really good student deal where you can get a classic beef/chicken or vegetarian burger with chips for €6.50 and you can add a drink for €1.50! I opted for the 2 course deal with the classic chicken burger for main and wings for starter - served with garlic dip for €9.95. Really like their chicken here! Chips were also really tasty. Such good value and a nice spot in Swords with loads of booths! Would definitely recommend!
Nice selection of burgers some of which are a bit different than your usual burger spot which is why I guess they have "gourmet" included in the name! Food was tasty and they do free refills on the soft drinks which is always a plus! Expect to pay about €12-15 for a meal which is I suppose standard price but a little expensive in my opinion for what is basically burger and chips!
Always a great spot for a burger. Got the chicken burger with a fried egg and smoked cheddar was delicious. Been here a good few times and will defo go back. They do good deals too.
Great student deal, burger and chips for a tenner, couldn't really beat that. Great burgers and friendly staff. Quite fast too! Been in here a good few times, got the veggie burger was really good!
I had some lunch here yesterday. As one of the many 'burger-joints' flooding the Irish market these days, GBK stands out for its vast burger menu, with some interesting combinations. I went for 'the Don' burger, which was topped with pickled onion, blue cheese, onion jam, rocket, and bacon jam... (probably missing out on something else, the thing was packed!) It was delicious. Definitely not your standard bacon & cheese. I got some onion rings to go with it, which were really really good! (I do love a good onion ring) Great meal, great service, bottomless drinks... definitely gotta visit a GBK again soon and try out some of their other concoctions.
