Went here last night with 2 friends and we were all really impressed, the food was stunning; the prettiest presentation I've seen in ages but really good portions too, we had 3 different starters and 3 different mains which were all fabulous, the black and white pudding lasagne starter was my favourite, such an interesting dish and a huge portion.
Gorgeous food, really attentive staff and a lovely atmosphere, I'll definitely return and recommend it to anyone going to Sligo.
visited here on Tuesday 17th April as a belated birthday meal for my niece...the food is amazing and presentation brilliant ..the staff very good and very helpful..the owner/manager comes to the table and explains all aspects of the meal..lovely idea..the surroundings beautiful and very relaxing music...a gem in the heart of beautiful Sligo...would highly recommend....
Well where do I start. Wow wow wow. From start to finish. From the minute we walked in the door we felt welcomed with a wonderful friendly lady with a big smile to greet us. She showed us to the best table in the house that they had kept for us. We were here for the AMAZING afternoon tea. They went above and beyond with the food and service . Nicest lady's in the world. So friendly and professional and couldn't do enough for there customer. Complimentary Soup at start wow wee gorgeous . And my god the next thing sandwiches to die for so so so tasty. Loooooved the big teapot. Most beautiful champagne also. Tasted gorgeous. So so so well presented. Scone so lovely and can not stop talking about the HUGE DESSERT wow wow wow amazing selection. And the cool little saucepan of chocolate to melt the chocolate ball�� so cool. I can not speak highly enough about this afternoon tea. Can not wait to go back with my sister in laws. A Sunday very well spent.
Can't recommend this restaurant enough. Had such an amazing meal. The three courses and the wine from start to finish were just gorgeous. One of my favourite restaurants and again last night didn't disappoint. The staff and service are just so brilliant too. Thanks Anthony to you and your team. Again an unforgettable dining experience.
Had the best steak I've ever eaten here last night !! Great atmosphere & lovely attentive staff ! Started with A taste of the Sea ... scallop,prawn & fishcske served on a rock .... amazing !!! Friends had the scallops & black/white pudding lasagne !! Hubby had the special which was lobster with saffron risotto .... looked fab tho I must say he was drooling over our fillet steaks on shallot mash 🙈 Unreal flavour/tenderness & presentation ! Shared a cheeseboard which was fab too .. desserts all looked amazing .... Enjoyed every super tasty bite ... lovely wine & the feeling of being in a place that was just a bit special ! Beautifully located on the banks of the Garavogue River in the heart of Sligo the Eala Bhan is a credit to Anthony & his wonderful staff ... definitely one to recommend & return to !!
We had our sons confirmation dinner here yesterday and the food was as amazing as ever. The staff were very friendly and so accommodating. The kids menu was also a winner with the kids, my 7 year old thought it was the best burger he ever had!
Had a St Patricks Day evening meal with my friend. Service was excellent as usual, menu was really good for an early bird menu, very reasonably priced, great food, great presentation - I'm from London, this is my 3rd visit in 2 years, and each visit improves, love this place, will be back in the Autumn, well done guys

The very best of locally sourced Sligo foods,taste amazing,& presentation beautiful, lovely relaxing atmosphere in the heart of town along the Garavogue river & friendly cheery staff too,highly recommended after myself and my mothers trip here!!

Thank you so much for the beautiful Afternoon Tea on Sunday. I took my mum and daughter, and we couldn't have been looked after any better , the food, the service and the lovely staff are what make Eala Bhán , what better way to spend a Sunday afternoon, everyone should experience it...you won't be disappointed:)
