We had our daughters Communion meal there yesterday and stayed overnight. The meal was fantastic, friendly staff very helpful. The room was fab we stayed in the family room and couldn't fault it, spacious, comfy and warm. The kids loved it as did we, would definitely recommend the Maldron for a meal or stay over we thoroughly enjoyed it. �
I found it a lovely hotel to stay in staff were very helpful and friendly ive been with children on few occasions which recently was this weekend the Saturday experienced an issue of floor we were staying on there happened to be alot of noise and argument s going on right beside us all hours which resulted in myself and children getting very little sleep when this was brought to the attention of staff at reception they couldn't apologize enough about what happened and kindly gave us a voucher for a free nights stay with breakfast which I then used the following night so thanks again to the manager and staff at Maldron Hotel Portlaoise �
Lovely hotel , on our stay we had breakfast & eventing meal which we both enjoyed , staff could not do enough for us , have no complaints at all we will be back .

Loved our stay here. After winning the Facebook competition myself my husband and kiddies had a great stay. Staff were ever so friendly. The pool was great fun with the kids. The meal we have was A1 . We love this hotel and will be back again ��
We recently enjoyed a one night stay in the Maldron Hotel Portlaoise to celebrate my daughter's 11th birthday. We had 2 interconnecting family rooms in which some of her friends stayed with her. The attention she was given by staff was out standing. They had the time of their lives. They had great fun swimming and afterwards had a table reserved in the fantastic restaurant followed by 2 hours of fun and a movie in the kids club. The staff were all outstanding and she had a special visit from Lisa in Sales and Darren the GM to make sure her and her friends were having a super time. Danielle in accommodation had there rooms all set up perfectly for them and even left them some treats. Breakfast this morning just topped off an amazing stay. They were absolutely blown away by the whole experience. We cannot wait to go back. Keep it up team maldron ye are amazing ���
My family and I had dinner here today in the grain and grill the food was fabulous and the service amazing and brilliant value will definitely come back and recommend to my friends!!!! Thanks for a lovely mean �

We just back from overnight stay and have to say it was fantastic..everything from spacious rooms (we had 2 adults/2 kids) to the swimming pool, bar was fabulous..breakfast was 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ quality/ variety of food was excellent.. staff were so helpful..we will definitely be back♡♡♡♡

Fantastic visit. We booked for few nights. Myself, husband and three children absolutely loved it. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We booked interconnecting rooms which were really big and clean. The food in the bar was beautiful. I would fully recommend this hotel xx
A great hotel.. And staff very friendly. I would recommend this hotel just a little out of the town.... Cheap to get into the town in a taxi..
