I have just been bridesmaid for a wedding here & the venue was amazing. Everything was done to such a high standard & the staff couldn’t be more efficient & helpful. It is fantastic to have everything you need under the same roof (or roofs). The rooms are beautiful & such a high standard. Don’t be fooled by the understated exterior!!! The decor is very plush. The copper baths are such a treat too! I couldn’t recommend it enough. ���������

We married at Six Mile Bottom on the 17/06/17 and held our weekend of celebrations at Swynford Manor. We cannot recommend this place highly enough, from the moment we pulled into Swynford we knew this was the place for us. Swynford helped make our dreams come true with exclusivity for the whole weekend from Friday with a pre-wedding BBQ through to our amazing wedding day and the relaxed Sunday morning breakfast following our weekend of celebrations. Angela, Georgia and the whole team worked tirelessly to ensure everything ran smoothly and went perfectly for us. Our family and friends were made to feel extremely welcome and relaxed. The food and hospitality was 5* and nothing was ever too much trouble. They even got an outdoor pizza oven in for our evening food - everyone is still talking about the pizzas now!
The only thing we can fault is it all went far too quickly! Thank you to everyone at Swynford, we hope to see you in a few years for an anniversary party! Love from Mr and Mrs Brown xx
Fabulous in every way. As you come down the drive you know it is going to be something special. Walking through the front door is even more exciting and then you see the decor. Nobody even needs to speak before you know this is THE place for a fabulous wedding.
And it was.
Our daughter and son in law were married here yesterday (25/11/17). It was the day of their dreams. The venue was fabulous and even more magical because of the Christmas decorations. The food was wonderful and the rooms were jaw dropping lovely. Best of all though were the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was so lovely. Everybody seemed happy in their job and proud of their place of work. Thank you so much to you all.
So if you are reading my review to see if this is where you would like to marry, cross all the others of your list.This is the one!!.
This place has the WOW factor. My husband and I married here on 23/5/2015 it was a day that i will never forget not only because i married the Love of my life, but the venue added to the fairytale wedding i had always dreamt of.
From the very start, meeting the wedding coordinator, to the day of our ceremony we were taken care of and our needs met to every requirement.
The grounds are spacious and breathtaking, the garden room where our wedding breakfast was held is bright and airy. I can not rate this place highly enough.
If i could relive the day here again i wouldnt change a single thing. We felt like a prince and princess. Thanks to all those that made our fairytale reality x
My husband and I got married at Swynford Manor on 28th August 2016. We had such a wonderful day there. The staff made our day really special. I can only praise the great team. They were attentive and made the day go without any hitches. All day we felt happy and relaxed.
The food was the best wedding breakfast we have ever tasted. |It was amazing.

On the 10th Dec this year we hosted our daughters wedding at this wonderful venue .
The manor is an amazing place and setting and I would recommend anyone to hold there wedding reception here .
The bedrooms and all the rooms in the manor are exquisite the standards of the bedrooms are 5 star , also the atmosphere is so peaceful and calming just what a wedding party need on their big day .
Food and drinks are of a very high standard , all our guests were impressed .
Now to the management and staff , they are so professional , friendly and accommodating , nothing is too much trouble and their attention to detail is fantastic . You can trust them with your whole day , ours was so well organised and hassle free . Many thanks to you all .
Finally all I can say is if you are considering Swynford Manor for your big day do not hesitate you will be thrilled with the whole package .

We were guests at our friends wedding this weekend 27th Jan 2017. What a stunning venue, the wedding breakfast was first class. Staff were fantastic and rooms to die for. Makes me want to marry my wife again just to stay at this venue again.
My husband and myself have just enjoyed a 2 night stay with you to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. I would like to thank every member of staff that we met, especially our waiter on Thursday night (I think his name was Ross?), We were made to feel very special! The room was lovely and that bath is to die for! We won't forget this break in a hurry. Thank you paddock house! Xx
Would like to say a massive thank you to the team at The Paddocks. We came for my girlfriends birthday and the staff were absolutely wonderful from start to finish, so friendly and welcoming. The food was outstanding, we would recommend the smoked duck and the roast loin of pork they were to die for, along with everything else. The building is stunning from when you arrive and see the grounds all the way through to the dining room, incredibly stylish decor throughout (I would have loved to steal one of their sofas). Incredible value also, I will go again in a heartbeat. George, we will be in touch! :)
We had a fantastic stay at Paddocks House! An amazing room, a lovely meal last night followed by an excellent breakfast. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.
We had our wedding at Paddocks recently, our day was amazing thanks to the ever so helpful staff and especially Sharon our wedding coordinator. All our guests commented about the lovely venue and great food. Thanks for the perfect day Ross and Carienne.

Thank you, Paddocks House, for a fabulous wedding celebration for my daughter and her new husband. It could not have been be better.
This is a truly wonderful venue for a wedding, offering the perfect setting and atmosphere, brilliant service and amazing food. The staff attended to our every request and ensured that the event ran smoothly every step of the way. They were thoroughly professional, instilling calm and confidence with perfect timing. Paddocks House were able to provide a special bar with our selection of cocktails, and allowed us re-purpose a bookcase to display our own photographs.
Particularly good were the slow cooked sirloin of beef (with dauphinoise potato, creamed spinach, burned leek, red wine jus) and the apple and fig crumble (with star anise ice cream).
The dozen or so rooms are everything you would expect from a boutique hotel and feature their iconic copper tubs in the bedrooms.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Paddocks House. You will not be disappointed. Many of our guests have dubbed the event “Wedding of the Year”

I want to say a truly massive thankyou to the Paddocks House Team for literally giving us the perfect wedding day in April 2016. We fell in love with Paddocks House two years ago when we held our engagement party with them and knew almost immediately that we wanted to have our wedding there. All the staff are truly amazing, friendly, helpful, attentive and every detail/item was spot on. The food is exquisite, the house itself beautiful and elegant, there is no chance we would have gone anywhere else to find our special day. Many of our guests had never experienced the venue before and everybody had an amazing day, one of the best weddings they had been to was said by many. All of our requests were catered for and the events team were always accommodating, clear and supportive. Including providing some very special vegetarian meals for some of our guests and allowing us to bring in our own lights. With Paddocks House I felt safe and confident at all steps in the process, but most importantly tremendously happy, on a very important occasion and I cannot thank them enough. Anything you want/need just ask. Thank you Sharon, Jamie, Georgia, Maria, Yan, Sue, Rory and Ross – you are all stars, I am annoyed I can’t give you 10 stars! Keep up the good work!!!!
Fantastic romantic break at Paddocks House. The hotel is small but most definitely perfectly formed. Only 15 rooms means every guest can be acquainted more personally & looked after fantastically.
Rooms are stunning. Bath is utter luxury.
Afternoon Tea & Dinner were delicious. Waiting staff discrete but super attentive.
The Study was perfect for chilling, and the bar great for pre-dinner drinks.
I can not rate this highly enough!

We enjoyed the best afternoon tea ever! Very attentive and pleasant staff. Loved it.
We stayed recently with a group of friends and had the most wonderful stay. Each bedroom is individually furnished with beautiful views. Elegant dining with impeccable service makes this a "must visit" hotel.
