We had heard so much about Taste Buds, that we couldn’t wait to try it for ourselves.
So when the opportunity presented itself, we had family over from Liverpool and a babysitter in Grandma, we booked and we weren’t disappointed.
We had the table in the window reserved and it was perfect.
Bring your own wine and pay corkage is brilliant and when we arrived Elaine took our wine, uncorked same and poured out four glasses, while we looked over the menus.
We ordered the prawns and the wild mushroom crostini to start, with three of us having the pan seared fillet of hake and one having the striploin steak for our mains and all were cooked to perfection.
I was the only one to have desert and the Irish liqueur roulade was just amazing.
The atmosphere in Taste Buds is lovely, not too noisy, no over powering music, so you can sit, eat, relax and chat.
The night was perfect and I for one would definitely recommend Taste Buds and can’t wait to return.

Christmas party for 9 women last night and we couldnt have chosen a better place - the food was outstanding! Seriously couldn't fault it one bit! The staff were just amazing, couldnt have been more helpfull- a great combination of tasty food and fantastic staff - highly recommend and looking forward to our next evening there!!

Food was delicious and very generous portions. Elaine is a brilliant and attentive hostess and made us feel right at home.
I would highly recommend you give this place a visit for lovely food, great coffee and really friendly service. A little gem in Lucan.
The best Falafel wraps I have ever eaten. I usually get one for lunch and have never waited more than 5 minutes for a warm, nicely served meal. Would highly recommend!
Fantastic food & Staff. Had 50th Birthday Dinner here, can’t praise them enough. Many thanks to Elaine & Isabella we couldn’t have asked for better service, they did everything they could to make sure everything went without a hitch on the night. Food tasted great & was beautifully presented. Well worth a visit you won’t be disappointed!
Had our 1st visit here last night and absolutely loved it, food was delicious and extremely good value (Fri/Sat night special) 3 courses for €20, bring your own wine €5 corkage...I was dubious about food when I saw price but honestly, could not fault it at all...friendly atmosphere, v attentive staff...will definitely be back ��

I Visited Taste Buds on Friday night. There was four of us ladies. We were all so impressed. The food and service were top notch. Such amazing value and the quality of the food was just fantastic. We were made to feel so welcome. The bring your own wine was brilliant and the buzz in the restaurant set us up for a great night. I would totally recommend and am looking forward to returning soon.

Had dinner here on friday night for xmas and we were so impressed. Food was beautiful and the service was top class. The staff are very nice too so we will definitly be coming again� �

Great place for a girls night.....
Food is great size portions aswell..

I had a meal last nite with friends and we had a really fantastic evening food atmosphere staff and bring your own bottle fantastic.
Look forward to returning again soon .
