We had our wedding at the Highlands Hotel, Glenties on 16th March 2018 and I cannot thank them enough. The room: The brand new ballroom was stunning. We had approx 140 guests with 18 tables and there was plenty of space. We also had a flower wall which fit perfectly for guests to take photos. The 6 person band set up in the navy alcove and this was ample room for them and logistically worked really well as they were able to set up whilst we were still in our seats. The team: The staff who were working from the Friday to the Sunday were first class. On the day, the service was amazing and the team were so attentive throughout the day. From ensuring we were never without a drink to helping me fix my dress, they made the day completely stress free. The party continued late in the night and the staff were so reasonable and accommodating. As people were travelling from Belfast, many guests stayed until the Sunday and the staff ensured everyone enjoyed their stay from the moment they arrived. The food: The meal on the wedding day was amazing as always- Starter, soup, main & dessert. The menu choices were great and they were so flexible with these. They was also no problems when we had a couple of last minute changes to meal requests for 2 guests. Overall, I cannot recommend the highlands hotel enough, especially for a wedding. The staff made the whole experience and feedback from our guests about the hotel was amazing.

Had lunch here today and must say food was excellent, first time in since it re-opened. The place is looking fab but its still the friendly homely place it always was. The staff were more than helpful to us and I cant rate the whole experience highly enough. Will definitely be back- and will go for plain goujons next time lol...�

Wonderful stay, staff was all smiles. Rooms were clean and very comfortable, shower was hot with good water pressure. Our meals were fabulous, one of the best seafood chowders I have ever tasted (I’m from Atlantic Canada � so good seafood is second nature). A group of two fiddlers and a guitarist played traditional Irish � music � which was excellent, a great time was had by all!

Visited Highlands Hotel yesterday with a good friend. Love how it's got that same ambience; it's so welcoming. Sinead Boyle - the perfect Ambassador of the Boyle Family and of the Hotel. Wishing you guys the very best after the perfect refurbishment. Top spot - will be back!

What a great place to stay. Has everything you want and more. Hotel is in superb condition throughout and rooms are all with character as is the whole hotel. Dinner and breakfast is top drawer too.

Beautiful decor, fresh clean room with very comfortable bed and friendly, welcoming staff. The food is delicious � and most importantly they welcomed Maxwell! There are not many pet friendly hotels in Ireland and this one exceeded our expectations. Day 4 of our trip and this stop was by far the best! Glenties is a lovely wee town with friendly locals and nice beach 10 min drive away. We will definitely come back �

We just stoping by for the nite before head to Galway.. They all so nice 😊 the lady as reception she very lovely helpfull ..the room is wonderfull sleep so well definitely recommend 😄Kimmy & ben
