A big warm welcome awaited us on entering. Greeted by Diarmuid. A drink at the bar served by Kevin. Then to our table 15 minutes later. Excellent choice fare of food. Especially ideal for the fish lover. We opted for the Half portion Crab Claws. Smoothered in garlic, butter and fresh parsley..home made brown bread. Sidesalad. Superb dish. Flavours to die for as we say in Cork. Then our mains arrived fresh catch of the day. Helvic Sole lightly done in breadcrumbs. Served with fries and Tartar sauce. Salad too. The tastes delightful. Cooked by Diarmuids twin. ( a joke). All round buzzy happy ambience of locals and visitors to Fungarvan. So impressed cannot wait to return again.
When we arrived we were told we would have to wait 30 minutes for a table we were shown to the bar where we had a drink while we waited it was exactly 30 minutes when we got our table and it was worth the wait our meal was fantastic and the staff were amazing top class service on a night that seemed really busy. I would highly recommend the moorings for a meal
Looking just fantastic... nicest pub in Dungarvan with an amazing view out on to the harbour, great atmosphere, award winning beer garden and the most delicious food in the bar and restaurant.

I live in Bristol, England and visit Dungarvan a couple of times a year to visit my family. I LOVE The Moorings & the Chowder is to die for. Simply delicious. Service is friendly & very efficient. Would highly recommend for quality of food, atmosphere & service.
I'm travelling over in 2 weeks & The Moorings will be top of the list to visit first!
Had my husbands surprise 30th in the beer garden last Saturday. A great night was had by everyone. The food was beautiful and the staff did a fantastic job and the decorations were fab, all I had to do was turn up! So thanks Marie and staff for a great night �

Not one for giving reviews, but had family meal in the moorings on Friday night and everything was top class it's easy to see how busy it can be.. From the service to the food itself was brilliant, nothing was problem, it's great to have confidence in a restaurant that the standards are so high every visit,, that's why booking is essential. Top marks folks..
I loved the seafood platter. Calamari, crab claws, prawns. Salad and chips.

I really enjoyed our meal in The Moorings. From the moment we went in the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the price was very competitive. Will definitely be back and I would have no hesitation recommending this establishment to friends.
Had lovely lunch today in the Moorings with Anne Hodgson & my son David I had Fish pie compliments to the chef. Fabulous place and beautiful setting with lovely staff well done all.
The fish and chips were absolutely beautiful. Great bicycle parking on site. Quayside view has to be seen. Nice beers, friendly staff, top class.

The food and service here tonight was amazing! I really enjoyed my night the atmosphere was perfect. Staff were lovely and very fast. PS our waiter Joey was fantastic �
