You have to try the assorted dimsums...if you are from India and miss dimsums, go for this place!!
The ambiance adds to your fine dining experience!!

Just what I wanted.

After a productive day of shopping, curry was the order of the evening. I opted for tasty dim sum to start while Himself had the duck spring rolls... meaty albeit somewhat lacking - the portion was small and a sprig of dry cucumber didn't say much for presentation.

Never mind. My green prawn curry was a big hug so perfectly flavoured. Himself had the steamed chili sole which was equally delish and was worth the €4 early bird supp.

Friendly staff and good location to wind down from retail therapy/torture, depending on your preference!

I cannot fault the food here. It was absolutely delicious. The place was packed and we arrived a little late but they still let us order off the early bird menu!

We both had the chilli and oil stir fry with beef for our mains!! I can't normally finish a portion like this, but it was too good to leave any left!

We shared aromatic duck for starters, it was cooked to perfection and came with plenty of wraps- the perfect amount for two people.

The only thing I wasn't happy about was the service but the place was really busy. We just seemed to always be looking for service. I will definitely return here when in Dundrum and craving some rice and curry! It is important to notice that the early bird has a lot of supplements added on, so it's not as good value as it may seem! It is worth the prices though.

Had a seriously great meal here recently. I had the Laab Gai salad to start (you can order a starter sized salad) and it was lovely. Chicken still nice and moist and the right level of heat. Also tried my other halves duck salad and it was awesome as well. When I go to a new Thai place I usually order the massaman and I did this time as it's a 'benchmark' I use and this massaman was beautiful. I got beef in mine and the beef was lovely and tender and the potatoes were perfectly cooked. Would highly recommend either here or their branch in Malahide (or even the takeaway based in Ranelagh!)

A Thai restaurant that always delivers great quality Thai cuisine and excellent service.

On my most recent visit I opted for the prawn pad Thai which was delicious and it was a very generous portion, I couldn't even finish it!

The creme brûlée was was presented beautifully and tasted amazing!

It's a little bit on the pricey side and there is an additional cost for rice, even with a main dish.

Cocktails in the candlelight bar are a must!!

I went to Siam Thai for New Year's Eve and then @candlelight-bar for drinks later.
I booked a booth for our group of 6. The booth was perfect loads of room, very comfortable & everyone could chat as a group. For me this is better then a long table where you end up talking to the person beside you or across from you.
Our waitress was lovely and was very informative about the menu.
For starters I shared mixed Thai dim sum which takes up to 10 mins as made from fresh. I love this starter & it is perfect for sharing.
For mains I decided to have green prawn curry with brown rice. I couldn't wait to try the green curry as I always have the massamum curry which by the way is amazing but it is a heavy dish and I was looking for something lighter. Green curry ticked all the boxes for me that night prawns were fab I think this is now my new fav dish in Siam Thai.
Siam Thai is a great spot to celebrate a big occasion it my second year going here for New Year's Eve. The atmosphere is so relaxed & friendly I have no hesitation in recommending Siam Thai wether it's dropping in after a day's shopping in dundrum town centre or a girlie night out its perfect for all occasions.

So I came here and visited the Candlelight bar and I thought it was a really elegant space with plenty of cozy areas and good mood lighting. Lots of tables to over which to sit and chat and sip some of the creative cocktails. I tried some of the food too, the beef in red wine and ginger prawns both being two very tasty stand out dishes for me.

Good Thai food, everything was nice and well presented. All courses were brought out on top of each other so that was a bit annoying but it's very busy all the time so I think they want people to leave come and go quickly. Expensive but they do a good 2 and 3 course early bird meal so it can be good value. Delicious cocktails too as a treat!

One of my go to places in Dundrum for food. Its always busy, but that just shows how great a spot it is. So booking in advance is advisable. However if there isn't a table its a great spot to sit and have a drink while waiting for your table. Always a great buzz and staff are always lovely. Its slightly on the expensive side but is worth every cent. They have an early bird menu which is great value. The cocktails are to die for. I often go just for drinks too! I go to the branch in Malahide occasionally also and its equally as lovely. Usually when in Malahide its for lunch and I pick up the Bento box. Such great value.
