Unbelievable place for that special treat......we would regularly drive from Co. Kildare for a Scrumdiddleys treat....
This place is absolutely amazing. I have had multiple variations of the ice cream tubs from here & it never fails. If it's a hot day expect to que anywere from 30 mins up to 2hours (for this reason I usually go when it's a bit cooler/late in the evening). Even with a long que the staff are very quick, efficient & always seem to be happy to serve you. Always worth the drive & money!!!!
Fabulous variety fabulous icecream. Husband treated us to a trip yesterday. 4 excitable kids absolutely loved their icecreams and as did we. We had 6 different varieties. Well worth the 1hr+ drive and long queue. Queue moved quickly, staff very friendly. Thank you we shall visit again soon 👌
The greatest ice cream and nicest bunch of people around � left my purse in their Dun Laoighaire shop after being mesmerised by the ice cream and only realised when I got back to Cork but they offered to post it no problem � will definitely be making a return visit for the fantastic ice cream and equally excellent customer service ���
I was in Dun Laoghaire yesterday and my sister & I got the twix fix ice cream tube, and my niece got a Kinder Bueno cone. OMG there ice-cream is amazing, and lovely staff there, so pleasant to talk to. Queue was long, but they got through it quick enough, so wasn't waiting too long. I will defo be back again. ������

Took my.kids to Scrumdiddlys today one of my.kids is celiac and the girl who.served me didnt get her name but she was amazing with my.daughter went true all.the gluten free items so caring and helpful wit my daughter.made sure everything was gluten free for her she thought.it was great that she had a choice you defo get 5stars my daughter said it was best ice cream.shes ever had ha thanks again to your staff member made it all go.easy for us we didnt have to worrie bout cross contamination thanks again dun laoghaire store xx

Love scrumdiddlys the queue maybe long at times but moves fast the staff at nice and the ice cream verity are brilliant and not expensive

one of the few best ice cream outlets that one can find in Dublin. All their ice creams are yummy and hard to resist eating. Ferrero & snowman are a must to try

However, be warned you may not be able to dodge the inevitable queue. I didn't mind the wait too much as the staff were very efficient and it gave me a chance to decide what I wanted. I got a scrummy cup which cost €2.50. This was whipped ice cream with a choice of three toppings - beware you may be overwhelmed with the choices between a variety of chocolate and jellies. Or for an extra 30c you could get the deluxe which is 2 toppings and a choice of their creative homemade sauces.
Its great value! So if you have a sweet tooth this is a must go!!
Came here at 8 on a Friday
and there was a queue way out the door. I didn’t mind the wait, it moved fast
as the staff are so efficient and it gave me time to pick- it was a tough call because
the options are amazing! I went for a Ferrero indulgence- Whipped ice-cream, Ferrero
ice cream, melted Ferrero, fresh cream, choc and hazelnut crisp, chocolate
ganache and melted Ferrero. My friend got the rocky road- whipped ice cream,
crushed oreo, marshmallows, melted Cadburys, chocolate ice cream and homemade
rocky road.
It was honestly the best ice cream I have ever had, and my friend
agreed. It was layered really well so each spoonful was different, not just all
mashed together. They were five euro each and I think worth every penny. The
scrummy pots are cheaper and less filling- mine was so big I didn’t have dinner
so decide accordingly!

I've been here many times. Can't get enough of the yumminess. I usually always get a scrumy tub with the 3 toppings and the Ferro Roche sauce which is Devine. Got their kinder hot chocolate once wouldn't get it again.
What a haven for those craving something sweet. Had heard only good things so was keen to round off date day with a sugar hit. We shared a tub of proper 99 ice cream topped with buttons, fudge pieces and a hazelnutty (nutella) sauce. Nom. Very good value @ €2.50 also.
This ice-cream parlour is better than any candy shop. It's like all my birthdays and Christmases came at once when presented with the tasty and luxurious selection of flavours and toppings. The counter of toppings is like a blast of the rainbow and cake mix all in one. Of course I chose the ferrero rocher special. Come hungry, very hungry!!
The only real fault in this place is the constant queue out the door (expect to be waiting anything from 20 mins-an hour), otherwise scrumdiddlys is hands down the best place for dessert in Dun Laoghaire. Delicious!!
A must go, regardless of the weather! Be warned, the quee in dun Laoighre is always longer than donabate AND donabate has a seating area!! Huge portion size for fiver euro, or make your own with three toppings and a sauce for under four euro (3.20 i think!) the sauces are all homemade, the oreo one is an absolute MUST taste, its amazing!
The Q is always long and its not the cheapest place to go but it is 100% worth the Q and the €5. I always get the oreo ice cream. I can never finish it but love every bite that I do manage to eat. I cannot fault it. One of the first times I went I assumed they would take laser card, but they don't. I was told that I could pay the next time I was up. Which was so lovely as the thought of not being able to get my ice cream after all that time waiting was devastating. I would 100% recommend trying!!!
If you're looking for indulgent ice cream creations on a sunny day this is the place for you! Had heard so much about this place and wanted to see if it lived up to the hype- we went on a sunny day which is when its busiest and queued for about 15 minutes (moves fast) and I ordered the ferrero cup and my boyfriend got the snickers cup! Both were out of this world tasty and cost €5 each which is the more expensive end of the scale! Will definitely be back to try again!
This is a must try! Anytime I have been the queues are massive, but let me tell you it is well worth it, and it moves quick enough. I normally make mine up as I go along and have never been disappointed.
Very reasonably priced too which is an added bonus.

I had the snicker-bocker glory for my first time here last weekend and it was glorious!! Loads of ice cream and chocolate pieces with fudge sauce!

Probably the most indulgent ice-cream experience I've ever had! Normally if I'm in Dun Laoighre for a pier walk I'll go to the infamous Teddy's but I decided to give Scrumdiddly's a try since the queue is always out the door and I've been dying to see what all the fuss is about. The menu boasts a whopping 2,300 topping combinations so I was spoilt for choice and it took me a while to decide. In the end, I went for the snicker-bocker glory. It was absolutely enormous and it came in a tub with layers of whipped ice-cream, snicker-flavoured ice-cream, caramel sauce and chunks of bite-size snicker pieces. It was undeniably tasty but my Everest in terms of dessert choices: there was no way I was going to finish it! I would go back when the queue is not so hectic and seek to procure a smaller portion.
If you haven't been to Scrumdiddly's yet, pay them a visit today! Super indulgent sundaes and every topping you could wish for. I had the Snickerbockerglory (€5, very reasonable) and was STUFFED after half of it. The staff are lovely and very helpful if you can't make your mind up. Be warned though, the queue horror stories are real, this place gets busy fast! They also don't take cards and the closest ATM is a trek away, so come prepared!
I couldn't love it anymore then I do now! I do be torn between a classic Teddys 99 or scrumdiddly's Oreo extreme 😍 it is a must have! 😍🎉
Everyone I know is always raving on and on about how good Scrumdiddlys is, so when my little sister was up visiting me and we were in Dun Laoghaire, we popped by. And OMG the scrummy mess I had was delish! Ice cream, strawberries and meringue pieces, it was soooo good. The cup was huge and I did worry about not finishing it, but I did no bother. The only down side I would have with it, from what people were raving on about, I thought there would be more flavours and toppings to choose from, or al least more adventurous ones. But overall it was delish and I'll be back again with my friends
Tried Scrumdiddy's for the first time this week, having heard all the hype about it over the last year I decided it was time to try it! There is a wide variety of choices of sauces/toppings and the ice cream is the classic vanilla whippy ice cream. You can choose from 3 sizes and make your own with toppings and sauces. Reasonably priced and an absolute indulgence overload! The only thing is the queue is quite long! But worth the wait.
I have had such a Scrumdiddlys craving since I had it a few weeks ago.The toppings they had were amazing. I had it in the Easter egg, with Vanilla ice cream, honey comb, Fererro Rocher sauce, white minstrels and fizzy tutti frutti bottles - It was divine.It lost marks for the hour long wait - definitely do not come here on your own it went a lot quicker when you can have the banter with your friends. I do also think their ice cream could be nicer as it is just the ice cream you would get from a 99. BUT reasonable prices and the smell is orgasmic. They also do crepes and milkshakes - Bravo Misses Scrumdiddly.

Best spot for ice cream in south Dublin - if you can manage to wait for it! You can pick your own toppings or get one of their signature ice cream combos. Its served in a massive tub there is nearly enough for two!!

Cute little place with every ice cream and topping imaginable available! Staff are friendly, and God bless their patience. I had the 'rocky road' ice cream, and my boyfriend went for the 'snicker-bockerglory'. Although delicious, we both left at least a third untouched! They're huge. Enjoyed it, and glad I can say I've visited, but I wouldn't queue for 50 minutes again!
There's always a long queue outside this place. It opened last summer and I had no clue why people were so crazy about it. All my friends urged me to try the ice creams here and I must say I'm a fan. I visit this place once every 3 weeks at least, they have some amazing flavours but my favourite is the coffee volcano. A shot of espresso with vanilla sprinkled with chocolate, they actually put a shot of hot espresso. It's amazing! Perhaps I need to try their crêpes sometime.
Even though the weather is fairly cold at the moment, there is always room for scrumdiddlys. The shop itself is small but the outside is bright so you won't miss it. The staff are patient too. I've been here with groups of friends and we are all so indecisive about what we want. There's hundreds of different flavors and combinations available, try the bueno hot choc sauce. ;)
