I would highly recommend the beginners leather craft work shop run by Ger & Jim. It was good, relaxed fun. They were very generous with their time and materials. Well worth giving it a go!
Great classes by dedicated tutors, and 6 months on I have made 2 handbags, several wallets and I intend to learn more about leather embossing. Couldn't recommend the classes enough
I recently attended the Dublin Leather Store's first day class - an intro to making leather accessories. It was an honour to learn from 2 masters of the trade Gerard and Jim from Marwalsh and I highly recommend them if you're looking for a bespoke leather piece, high quality supplies or to learn a bit more about the craft they are incredibly generous with their time, knowledge and patience!!

I would highly recommend this one day workshop. We learnt loads. Jim is a very patient and encouring teacher. Gerry looked after us very well. This was something I've wanted to do for a long time and I really enjoyed it. We even got to bring home a finished piece.
Had a brilliant time at the workshop, it is such great value, you will walk away with so much new knowledge and great new skills, the guys are great, they are super helpful and go at a pace that suits everyone in the class, I can't recommend this enough, if youre considering taking the workshop, do it!!! you won't regret it!

This was a fantastic day course. We learned a lot about theory and practice of working with leather and all made at least one finished piece of leatherwork. It was relaxed and fun with plenty of coffee and chat. Look forward to the evening workshops. Thanks.

A group of us went to the workshop on Saturday 3rd Feb 2018. It was really well run. Teaching and explanations to a really high standard. Delighted with my finished product and my new appreciation for all things hand made in leather.
Really enjoyed the beginners leather craft workshop, can home with a lovely finished project and had a fun, relaxing day.

I attended the first Leather Craft Workshop on 10th June. It was an amazing experience learning about vegetable tanned leather and it's properties when you dye, cut, sew then finish to create something awesome. Jim was an excellent tutor and very knowledgeable in his craft. It was a pleasure to meet Gerard, one of the owners of Dublin Leather Store and learn more about leather crafting and what they have to offer to the curious crafters like myself. Well done to Dublin Leather Store and I look forward to more workshops.
