Get in and get it quick! Gets very busy at Peak-Lunchtimes. Despite this, the service is very well-managed and friendly. The Menu. Filled Daily, is always packed with tasty choices. Hot Pots and Sandwiches have never let me down. I'll always favor a large Penne Pasta or one of those Awesome, Toasted, Ham, Cheese and Relish Sambos. Prices are fairly reasonable, expecially for the good portions and it's high profile location. Where seating is limited in the shop. You've always got the dock to munch your lunch by.
Ducked in here for lunch today and was treated to a gorgeously hearty Lentil & Coconut soup with side salad (tomatoes, balsamic leaves and shredded carrots), while my colleague enjoyed the Savage Roll as served with leaves. Upon seeing my soup, he then ordered an equally warming bowl of Brocolli and Parmesean soup.
Didn't indulge in cakes or anything sweet but the Red Velvet was a sight to be seen, and will be savoured at a later date for sure.
This is a fantastic fresh lunch spot in Dublin that me and my colleagues frequent often. What is excellent about this place is the daily menu variations, each day they have a new soup, hot pot and range of salads so you could literally go here every day and get something different and equally tasty. I'm so sick of only being able to get vegetable or tomato soup in most places so i love that they try mix it up with cauliflower and blue cheese, or Indian lentil and sweet potato! The savage rolls (giant meat filled sausage rolls) are a Friday morning hangover buster! Great options for coeliacs and a generally healthy spread. It's always got a q so pop in before 1.15!
Great spot for lunch on the go or to sit in. Had the cranberry savage roll and a mix of their salads. Salads are so big and very tasty and different to the usual salad you would get elsewhere. Was €7.50 to take out but is slightly more expensive to sit in. Such a nice spot and in a nice area in town.

I have only been here for coffee but my friend got some food and it looked amazing. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The menu has a great selection of food and there are a lot of healthy choices there. I have to say the cakes and pastries looked incredibly tempting - I will have to go back to have a taste.
I went to grab coffee and treats for the office one morning. The pastries were delicious as we're the scones! Coffee was to my tastes and I look forward to going again!
I had a porridge for my breakfast. The portion was massive! I go for a stewed apple and maple syrup but there's also option to have berry compote and honey. Porridge was tasty and not overcooked. A bit dry in some places but I asked for the soy milk to change the consistency. Overall I was very pleased with my breakfast.
Great addition to Grand Canal. I have always gone to the Lolly and Cooks beside baggot street so when they opened near work I was delighted.
I have always gotten things to takeaway like salads, coffees, porridge on a cold morning or a savage roll on a hungover morning.
So last Friday my friend and I decided for a change to come to Lolly and Cooks and eat outside, the tables outside are very
cute with blankets provided.
The staff were very attentive even though it was busy inside.
I ordered the herb crushed chicken focaccia with three salads on the side. The chicken was lovely and juicy and just enough sundried tomato pesto to complement the chicken. The three salads were lovely and fresh, my favorite being the mango and avocado such a lovely combination.

Have gone here a few times mainly for a takeaway salad and soup combo but I went on Friday for lunch with a friend and it was really nice! The service was great, which is hard to come by on a Friday usually around that area. There is a lot of choice as the salads and hot meal options change daily, but on Friday I decided to be completely bold and try one of their 'savage' rolls which is basically a huge sausage roll and it did not disappoint! I got 2 gorgeous salads on the side but I could have got as many as 5 of i wanted, I went for the mango, avocado and tomatoe salad then the chickpea one, absolutely delicious and it came in at 9 euro which was good considering the fresh ingredients! My friend got the breaded chicken focaccia which looked yum too! Saz
