Nice and helpful staff. Excellent food, especially eggs benedict are deadly. Definitely will come back there.

Vanilla Pod’s breakfast is the deadliest of them all. It’s so lovely that you will fall in-love with it and no other breakfast will have your heart. Whenever you walk in, they’re always immediately ready to greet you and prepare a table for you. Everyone knows that when you go eat at a restaurant or a coffee shop, you expect that you’re going to get better food than what you can cook at home.
Such good food every time! Great choice on the menu. Love the falafel wrap and the superfood salad. The restaurant setting is lovely and staff are friendly
Have been going here for years, love this place. It's always packed too but the service and food is superb! My go to is the breakfast potatoe salad which is divine, comes with a poached egg, black puddings, roasted red peppers, parmasan, baby leaves and potatoes! U can't go wrong! Everything that came out of the kitchen looked divine. My friends got the benedict and truffle mushrooms, both were delicious. The treats and coffee is also really good!
Gorgeous restaurant that also caters for gluten free . This little gem of a place was recommended to me by the beautician next door Brown Cow and OMG !!! I went for brunch and the hype about their Eggs Benedict did not disappoint. There was a long que out the door as it was lunchtime on a Saturday and the staff were quick to welcome everyone and hand out menus while waiting to be seated. Highly recommend and will defiantly be back!!!
Went here for Sunday brunch with my folks. The place was rammed. Perhaps too many kids if there was booze the night before! Aside from that, the food was great. It's a perfect place to go with the oldies as the menu is a mix of the usual stuff like a fry but there's also salads, pancakes etc. Staff were all very friendly. Only gripe was the coffee wasn't great. Wouldn't stop me returning. The cakes look insanely good.
First time @ #thevanillapodeatery on Saturday and I will most definitely will be back. Myself & sister were recommend to check it out for brunch. We both had eggs benedict which I highly recommend. No problem getting gluten free bread & spelt bread instead of muffin and I asked for no fat & crispy bacon this not a problem. It was both our first time having eggs benedict and we will be getting again. We both got the daily cleanser juice which was orange, carrot & ginger Devine. Lovely atmosphere staff really lovely and efficient food so fresh can't wait to go again. Also we got a takeaway of coffee walnut cake & tea cake #omg so #yummy

A quirky little eatery, hidden amongst a busy retail park in Carrickmines. It's quite the norm for a queue to form outside the door for this place at lunchtime every day, but you're never waiting long. You can choose from the Vanilla Pod Eatery or the Vanilla Pod Kitchen, two different locations in one, each serving the other but both have different atmosphere's.
Vanilla Pod Kitchen has a continental feel, full view of the chef and his woodfired oven making the most delicious pizza's with every topping imaginable, everything is so fresh and tasty. Two of my recommended dishes are the Meatball sandwich, small little meatballs, bathed in marinara sauce and tucked up inside a ciabatta roll, absolutely divine and you don't need anything else with it, it'll definitely satiffy your hunger. The other dish, being the Minestrone soup, the only downside is that it sometimes lacks flavouring and I've never had any pasta or even orzo in mine but it's hearty and warming on a winters day and comes with delcious spelt bread.
The Eatery is where all the action is, the rumble of the barista machine, the bustle of the staff, the kitchen shouting for service....and the faces of people enjoying exceptionally gorgeous food! You can get pretty much every requirement seen to, here, be it vegetarian, paleo, vegan or even gluten free! Each day at 9, they open to delicious bruch, Egg's Benedict, Fluffy Pancakes and bacon, granola, fresh veg juices, they have it all! If you're much more of a brunch person, not to worry, there's a whole host of gorgeousness from superfood salads to burgers to their daily sandwich and fries special which is definitely recommended! My top recommendation is the Pod's Chicken salad, a healthy chicken salad with green beans, buffalo mozzarella, toasted pumpkin seeds, lemon oil...it's unbeatable! Everything is freshly made, even the ham sandwiches have fresh carved roast ham, same with the poultry.. top notch! Be sure to check out their baked goods display too, everything is made on site from pastries to home made bounty bars and teacakes-even French Macarons!
I highly recommend this Vanilla Pod Eatery, child friendly (from what I've seen), value for money, super friendly staff.
I've always had take away's at Vanilla Pod too on my lunch break, hence lots of my photo's are in take away containers :)
I really like vanilla pod. The decor is really nice, most of the staff are very welcoming and the food is really good. However the only fault I can find is that they stop serving food altogether from 1130 until after midday as they are changing their kitchen over. From my experience from working in a very busy restaurant just like vanilla pod with an even smaller kitchen, the chefs didn't take half as long to swap over and always did their best to keep the customer happy.
Breakfast,Lunch or Brunch- whatever your having here the food is so tasty. The eggs benedict and the French toast with maple syrup and bacon are amazing. Pulled pork sandwich on honey and spelt bread is to die for! There are a number of choices on the menu and plenty of tasty treats for desserts.The service is friendly and relatively quick. Always busy, so you may have to wait a few mins before being seated.
The Vanilla Pod is a massively busy spot but once you've eaten there you'll see why!
They have a super brunch menu and having tried most of the menu I have little to complain about. The majority of what they were up is top notch but my recommendations go to the superfood salad and the Eggs Benedict
Biggest issue with TVP is often the wait for service/paying bill - there seems to be no structure to staffing in areas , you could have 6 servers on a one course brunch !
This is the best breakfast/brunch/lunch place EVER! I cannot fault it! I've tried nearly everything on the menu and have loved everything. The eggs benedict is a firm favorite for brunch!! Its always packed and often has a Q out the door but it's worth the wait. All the staff are so lovely and friendly and there is always a great buzz and atmosphere about the place. I often get salads to take away for lunch - the superfood salad with chicken is so good! They have a huge number of gluten free options and all their sandwiches are available on gluten free bread. Its impossible to leave without a dessert. All the deserts are made there so none of those bought in ones! The scones are HUGE!! Their restaurant next door - pods kitchen - is equally as good with some delicious pastas and pizzas. They have a great selection for kids - pancakes and french toast seem to go down great with kids!! Would highly recommend. You won't be disappointed!!
Excellent for lunch! It's always busy but this never effects the service or food. Definitely one of my favourite places in Dublin for lunch. A hidden gem. Would highly recommend the eggs benedict and also the pancakes! Very reasonably priced
Everything I have ever tried here is lovely! It's a great spot for brunch and I love the breakfast bap which comes with homemade relish. The desserts and scones are so good.I couldn't fault the place and it's well priced. It's always busy though so expect a few mins wait to sit and service is quite quick.
Eggs benedict is the choice to be made when visiting the vanilla pod. Nice bustling atmosphere with friendly staff and attentive service. If only the wait for a table wasn't as long at times but that's a display of its popularity.
A family favourite for us. Superb brunch menu, really good coffee, high chairs and smiles from the friendly staff. The herb sausage and bacon sambo on crusty bread served with homemade relish is such an indulgent carb and meat feast. And my hubby who is an eggs Benedict super fan rates this among the best in Dublin. Excellent coffee served in mugs with quirky slogans and staff who are genuinely very good. The pods pizza portion is also excellent, with a separate kitchen for the Italian menu. Really nice spot and would highly recommend it.
They do a fantastic breakfast and brunch at The Vanilla Pod. This isn't the easiest location to get to unless you live on the south side or happen to be shopping in the Carrickmines Shopping Centre but totally worth the trip if you do. The Bacon and Eggs with Hollandaise Sauce is the best I've had anywhere and the Full Irish follows closely behind as my favourite dish here.
The Vanilla Pod is probably the busiest restaurant in Carrickmines business park and deservedly so. I was in about a fortnight ago with my sister, brother in law and 18 month old niece for breakfast. Breakfast is always tricky for them and the Vanilla Pod is a staple as they do great food and are Peppa Pig obsessive friendly. I had the omelette and it was delicious, really filing and great value. Deadly family friendly spot.
Really quirky spot. Try to get here as often as I can. Great breakfast and brunch menu. Portions are generous and price is reasonable. Great coffee and staff!
