J'adore this uber cool nü-hipster locale. Beware of the delectable pastries and in-house boutique though, everything is expensive and desperately covetable!
The staff have always been open, smiley and attentive.
I went to a tea and coffee tasting event here the other night for a #zomatomeetup and I loved it! The whole set up is just so perfect and unique and the two ladies Dairine and Jenna who hosted the night were so pleasant and quirky and made everyone feel really comfortable and even made us laugh a lot! I learned so much about tea and coffee that I never knew before, about how different types are made and their origins and unique flavours! All in all it was a great evening, and I most definitely will be revisiting again soon!
Dairine & Jenna are two ladies who really know what they are doing when it comes to Tea & Coffee. I loved learning all about Kombucha and how it is made. It's really interesting!
They definitely opened my mind to coffee and how we sometimes settle for a quick caffeine fix instead of enjoying a good cup of coffee.
I can't recommend this place enough for a coffee. So much love and thought goes into what they do (maybe that's why it tastes so good). See you soon ladies. 👋🏼
I had the pleasure of popping along to Indigo & Cloth for a taste and talk with the lovely Dairine and Jenna. These ladies are a couple of great things, engaging, knowledgeable, funny and passionate about all things tea and coffee.
We were treated to Kombucha ! What's that you may ask! Well I had to ask. It is none other than the next big trend that's going to sweep our beverage loving shores in Ireland. Essentially it's a fermented tea with a colony of bacteria and yeast. No it doesn't sound great so just memorise the fancy name KOMBUCHA and give it a go. It's far nicer than it sounds and the ladies tell me there will be all sorts of flavours added in the future to it. All of us who were in attendance now have the pleasure of being all smug and rolling our eyes at others when they don't know what Kombucha is. There was also Jasmine tea which smelled divine and one which was like liquid bacon in a glass. As far as I'm concerned that genius.
There was also plenty of coffee but I must admit I'm more of a teaboy so the espresso was a little strong for me. I left enlightened, interested to learn more and armed with a notion that I'd be buying tea leaves and brewing my own tea at home. In reality I suspect my rather rushed life won't allow the time But I now know where I can get not only a range of TeaTastic drinks but a drink made with passion and brewed with a smile. I'm looking forward to trying out more of the range and perhaps letting my Earl Grey take a back seat for a while.
Indigo and Cloth is a sister cafe to the great Clement & Pekoe and I was lucky enough to attend a tea and coffee tasting here last night. Dairine & the hilarious Jenna took great care of us, bringing us through different types of tea & coffee and the stories behind them.
I had a ball smelling and tasting samples of different types of teas such as Formosa oolong, jasmine, lapsang souchong (which tasted and smelled like bacon!) The coffee tasting was equally as fun with the group trying out samples from the coffee bean roasters Climpson & Sons - the espresso coffee won that taste off for me hands down.
But my favorite sample of the night for me was the cafés own brew of Kombucha, a fermented tea. With a taste similar to apple juice, I found the drink very tasty & refreshing & no doubt I'll be back to try it again!
What a great evening we had with the lovely Darina and Genna! Their appreciation for quality really shows in their coffees and infused teas. Definitely recommend a drop in! ☕️🍰
Went here this evening for a tea and coffee night and it was amazing. The cafe is nestled in a hip clothing store and studio. The 2 hosts were so lovely and they had such knowledge and love for tea and coffee. We tried kombucha tea, jasmine tea and oolong tea to name but a few. We tried 2 coffees as well which were nothing like I'd ever tasted before. This is a must for people who appreciate their tea and coffee. Felt like a bit of an expert leaving there tonight and can't wait to spread my new found knowledge
