The best scones you can ever try in Dublin. The ambience is very cozy and although the music is very loud but still you'll enjoy early breakfast.
Great coffee and tea. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of sandwiches, salads, soup and quiches. I generally go for the CBLT but all the sandwiches are good and if you're coeliac they can accommodate that too.
This is a great coffee place serving lovely freshly brewed coffee and good fresh pastries.
I had a chocolate twist with my americano. I do like the way it was served.
For me it's just a huge pity it's so far from where I live.
There's nothing like a hot chocolate, fresh cream and marshmallows to warm you up on a rainy day. This is my hot chocolate spot mon - fri with my work crew.
I've had lunch here a few times... I think the chicken salad is premade you could probably get the same quality salad in Dunnes stores fridge.
The coffee shot cater to coeliacs too which is always a bonus. The gluten free bagels are good as are the selection of gluten free goodies.
The best thing about the coffee shop is the staff they are super friendly and full of energy. You always leave with a smile... the barista boys are always chatty and full of life.
It's nice to find there's still life beside the coffee chains. This place has all the things you need for a perfect break during the day: super friendly staff, lovely sweet and savory snacks, gluten free options, soya milk, etc. So it's hard to be disappointed with their products. The atmosphere feels warmer than any "yet another one of the franchise" place, totally worth the visit.
Best coffee in Dublin. Super friendly and helpful staff. Always very clean and open 7 days a week. CBLT is the perfect midweek lunch when your hungry
This is a great little coffee shop in the middle of Sandyford Industrial Estate. The staff were incredibly friendly and the atmosphere inside was great. The baked goods at the counter looked delicious - I must go back and give them a try next time.
I go here for the great barista coffee. There's a good variety of sandwiches and cakes. Always busy and a good friendly service. Can get cold when people leave the door open!

Regular visitors to The Coffee Shot during the week, it’s normally just a pre or post gym coffee to go. The Coffee Shot is a nice little spot, an independent cafe amongst all the big chains. On the odd occasion we’ve had a pastry or something sweet if we visit at other times. On this visit, we went for a late breakfast (there may have been too much wine the night before and hence food was needed!).
The sandwiches here are really great, they have a blackboard menu on the wall and normally have lots of sandwiches pre made ready for toasting but you can also pick something else and they will make to order.
He went for the bacon roll which comes with a side of tomato relish. The floury soft bread full of bacon and the relish on top makes for a pretty perfect bite. Their ham & cheese toasted sandwich is equally gorgeous with melty cheese and just the right amount of ham on lovely toasted batch type of bread.
The sandwiches with a flat white and a double espresso comes to just €15.20 total. Good value. We sat outside this time but inside is nice… an authentic type of coffee shop, with nice touches in the decor with the coffee beans and wall art. I wish now I’d popped inside to take some photos of the place! You will have to make do with photos of coffee and sandwiches for now!
The owners are present a lot of the time and are lovely, as are all of the staff – friendly, chatty and engaging.
Onto the coffee, they brew Badger & Dodo coffee here… and always have signs up to say which coffee they are making on the day. The main reason we return time and time again to The Coffee Shot is the coffee. there are lots of other choices for coffee around them but their coffee is good. Great quality coffee to start with and they have well trained baristas who make lovely flat whites, cappuccinos and espressos. There’s a loyalty card too, where you can get your 10th coffee free with 9 stamps.
They’ve now introduced frozen yogurt for the Summer too, with what looks to be pretty nice toppings – yet another reason for me to visit. The Coffee Shot opens at 7am every morning during the week (til 6pm) and at weekends from 9.30am (til 5pm).
