The IFI is a great place to watch innovative and new work by the world's best filmmakers, sometimes even getting a chance to meet them. It's also a place that will allow new filmmakers to show their work.
I have heard mixed reviews about the IFI for many years. Some good, some bad etc. But for me I have to say I have never experienced anything but fantastic service both from cinema staff & restaurant staff. Yes there has been times when the place was packed with people & the cues have been a bit unorganised but to be honest it's not that big of a deal. It's a small cinema with limited floor space & I think if your going to a film or just for food you should expect that at peak times you may not get a table in the restaurant whilst waiting for your movies to start or just a table in general but that's just the way it is at times. Keep up the amazing work folks.
Well what can I say. Tranquil serene and a peaceful place. Everything fab about this place. Food delicious , great value for Money, staff very cheerful.
The IFI is brilliant, great staff excellent screens. All you need under one roof. Love going to the IFI 100%.
I brought my 17 year old son because I wanted him to know the IFC as I know it, a great place for a pint and to experience visual culture and relax. The staff were brilliant. Totally sensitive to teenage arkwardness they gave him a card to encourage his return. We went to see I Daniel Blake and it was a memorable experience for both of us. Well done IFI- its an intergenerational thing ;) xx Love this place!
